Shaundra was the best server. We had a large group with kids and multiple checks and we had a lovely night. She was so flexible, attentive to details and just overall easy going. Food was good and we enjoyed the hotel restaurant without needing to go out into the bad weather. Perfect for a relaxing evening with friends.

Nice, quiet breakfast with great service. Above average for a restaurant in the hotel.Kid-friendliness: Kids meal pancake was huge. Kiddo only ate half!

We were staying at the Marriott and did not feel like walking or driving and, frankly, the reviews here were not stellar; but tiredness won out. I BEG TO DIFFER with ALL those reviews. We had a wonderful meal with great cocktails. Our server, Andrew, was gracious and made our meal a relaxing experience. Everything arrived in a timely manner and was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Well done Bistro 40!

Bistro 40 is in the Downtown Marriott hotel. I didn't have high expectations of a hotel restaurant but was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast is offered each morning and they do push the buffet but I had the eggs benedict the first morning and it came with hash browns and was really good. the next day I wasn't given a menu just told to eat at the buffet which had fresh fruit; bacon; sausage; scrambled eggs; grits; muffins; cereal and breads. George took care of me both days to make sure I had whatever I needed. They also have dinner and you can either dine in the bar/dining area or order the food to go. Both times I dined here I just stayed in the dining area. The first night I did a salad with grilled shrimp that I thought was really good. I ended up dining here again after I couldn't get service at another restaurant. I went to the Marriott Burger that had cheddar cheese; bacon; lettuce and tomato. It was delicious. I'd eat at Bistro 40 again as not only is it convenient but the food is delicious.

Website apparently should be disregarded regarding pricing and you definitely should not ask someone about it. Just sit and take it when the charge you $34 for $24 chicken carbonara or $18 for the $13 calamari. Just be aware when you ask them about it they will flip out.

Inside the Marriott, it's a hidden gem with wonderful service (Yvonne, you rock), great drinks..... decent beer selection and solid food options! The new deco is very "Miami white", so working on it for my eyes! I do like hanging here when I travel.

Really nice menu — surprising treats like really delicious Buffalo cauliflower and delicious crispy brussel sprouts— plus savory hamburgers and a great bar. The people who work there are super nice. If you are in Granby, or passing through, check it out!!

Stayed at the hotel so we decided to try the restaurant. Service was really bad and very slow. They seemed unstaffed for a Saturday night. Victor was our serviced the other night we had drinks and he was GREAT! But the server Amber was not good as all. My sweet potato fried were cold and she took so long to come back after I got my food it didn't even matter anymore. The drinks from the bar were very slow. Turkey club was very good. Definitely would not recommend you come here on a Saturday night.

I walked to downtown and looked at many diff restaurants menus. MY picks of restaurants were closed on Mondays such as Machete, or Lao restaurant (which was supposed to be open but was not) i also looked at Bonchon but it was not too appetizing to me since the food seemed heavy. I also went to white and wood, but the price was ridiculous for entrees. So I ended up eating at the hotel restaurant. The service was really nice foe takeout. Salmon was good and priced at 29 dollars which is much better than 48 dollars for rack of lamb or 42 dollars for halibut at the White and Wood. Sure, the rice was bit tough, but the entree was decent.. It is a hotel restaurant, so do not expect the best but it is definitely not bad.

Service was poor. Maybe they were short staff?

Spent a week at the Greensboro Marriott downtown. One of the nights, another Motorcoach driver & I decided to eat here. The restaurant area was closed because of covid, so food was being served in the bar area. I chose the grilled Salmon with Asparagus. The chef did an excellent job, as everything was prepared with perfection & was absolutely delicious! The other gentleman had one of their Burgers & he said it was very good. Our server was Yvonne....she was very polite, professional & just a Sweetheart. Took care of our every need & gave us some recommendations for Breakfast places. Sorry I did not get a pic of my dinner, but the presentation was beautiful... If you're staying in or passing through the downtown Greensboro area, stop in & see Yvonne for a great meal experience!
