I dont have any interest in returning. The girl who rang me up was very pleasant and nice. The lemon-blueberry “cinnamon” roll i ordered was nothing special. Just dry-ish bread and an extremely sugary lemon frosting. The strawberry matcha scone i ate was actually very good, but nothing of the description of what a scone should really be.At 9:30am on a Wednesday, im surprised to see so few options. Maybe 7-10 different items total, which is surprising for a business that is entirely a bakery. Sugar-baked treats are always tasty to snack on, but to eat a well baked pastry with good flavor and texture is what id expect from a bakery- and this place did not deliver that expectation.

Yesterday was my 1st time visiting Black Magnolia and let me say that I was blown away! I got the Classic Cinnamon Roll and the Peach Bourbon Roll, both were delicious. At the recommendation of another patron in the store, I also bought the Mushroon Gruyere Brioche Toast, I had it later at home with a side of bacon, eggs, and sliced tomatoes, it, too, was mouthwatering. Thanks and shout out to my boo for recommending that I try this spot out. The shop is tiny, but the flavors are HUGE!!!

Why oh why did I wait so long to go here?!Literally the smell of deliciousness greets you as soon as you come close to the entrance. No turning back now! Time to take in all that yumminess. I love the cuteness of the whole little area inside. Local vendors showcasing handmade goods and then you turn to see those sweet rolls. We couldn't decide on just one so we bought four. We figured a little sample platter was in our future- a charcuterie of rolls. We also snagged two chocolate chip cookies that somehow were crisp and gooey. Not even sure how they accomplished that delightfulness. We also found out their sausage and gravy biscuits were amazing but sadly, we were just too late by one spot in line. We'll definitely have to plan better and venture out earlier in the morning to grab one.

Small shop serving the best buns and biscuits in GSO. They have other amazing things, cakes, muffins, cookies, croissants,pies, cakes, holidays orders. Teas, local items and MUCH MORE. some item and flavors rotate but I have never had anything bad from here. My current obsession is a biscuit with egg and cheese, DEVINE! You need to stop by this place and experience the pure joy that she and her team put in their food.

It was a Saturday, wayyyyy past my lunch time and my hunger had to choose between a restaurant or a bakery. Not just any bakery, one that's been on my list to try but is always closed when I want to go there. I picked the bakery. It was an hour before they closed, few items remained stocked, so I decided to go big or go home. After asking the cashier to please explain which flavors of Cinnabons were left, I made my decision. I ordered the Lemon Cardamom Meringue, Banana Pudding, Brown Butter Pear and Apple Chestnut Praline.I had full intentions to eat all four on the same day but I decided to only eat 2 and save the last 2 for the next day. I ate the the Brown Butter Pear and Apples Chestnut Praline at the same time since their flavors would be similar. Out of the two the Brown Butter Pear was better than the Apples Chestnut Praline.The next day I ate the Banana Pudding and Lemon Cardamom Meringue. My favorite was thee Lemon Caradamon Meringue which I felt was moist and had enough icing/toppings you could enjoy with ever bite. Out of all four the Banana Pudding and Lemon Cardamom Meringue are ether two I would recommend to others and order again for myself. The Brown Butter Pear and Apples Chestnut Praline didn't have enough icing/toppings for overbite. I also felt the Apples Chestnut Praline was the driest cinnamon roll out of all of them.Note: 1) You have to take your order to go as the shop only has spacing for a few people to order. There were two small outdoor tables, two seats at each table. It's currently winter so people likely use them during the warmer seasons.2) They serve other items such as biscuits, scones, pies and drinks.

We stopped by after a trip to our favorite pizza place (Cugino Forno). The cinnamon roll was great, but we really loved the chocolate chip cookie. I believe that any restaurant/bakery/etc. Has got to do the basics well, and they really knocked it out of the park. The people were extremely friendly, too.
