10/10. My daughter law and I like to find new places downtown to eat, well did she find a gem today!! I had breakfast and they had lunch. The food was absolutely amazing, love they have the healthy options like turkey bacon. My grandson had the Salmon burger guys this was SO good! My breakfast was plentiful and the potatoes are the best I’ve ever ate! It is hidden inside of the Renaissance building, straight back past the elevator and to the left! The service was great, the atmosphere was great! We will be returning!
The best breakfast I’ve had in a longggg time. The food was fresh and so good. Excellent customer service and the owners were so sweet. Will definitely be coming back!
The bacon burger was excellent according to my husband, and I had the best turkey burger ever! The fries and sweet potato fries were crispy out and tender inside. These people know how to cook!
Great food! Great service! Very laid back vibe but the food did not miss. Really enjoyed the hash browns and the pancakes. No extra seasoning required like other Greensboro breakfasts we have had. Don’t be confused when you pull up to an office building, it’s just inside.
The people working were so gracious to our girls when they asked for pancakes at lunch. The service was great, they were so friendly, and the pancakes were amazing! We will definitely visit again when we are in town.
The food was amazing. The restaurant was very clean and visually pleasing. Rick and Stephanie were amazing host. I'll definitely be back.
Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Café 13, and from the moment I walked in, I was impressed. I had the opportunity to meet Stephanie and Rick—two incredible owners who are not only kind but very hands-on with the business. Their presence and passion add a personal touch that many restaurants are missing these days.
The food? Absolutely delicious—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. My friends and I cleaned our plates with zero hesitation! The atmosphere of the café is cozy and welcoming, but what stood out the most was the exceptional service. You can truly feel the love and effort poured into every detail.
If you’re looking to support a small Black-owned business that values community, quality, and experience, Café 13 is a must-visit!
Drove 30min to try this for breakfast after reading a few reviews complementing the pancakes.
The good: it's clean, it's cute, love the aesthetic. The eggs were perfect.
The needs improvement:
It's hard to find. There are no outside markers or signage.
The service: the woman who was upfront was on the phone on a personal call. She seemed irritated that I interrupted her to put in an order. She had no warmth at all.
Everything is served on paper plates and plastic silverware. Your napkins are a roll of paper towels on the tables.
The same woman who took the order kept carrying on her phone call touching everything without washing her hands.
The cook wasn't wearing real shows. He had on socks with shower slides.
The food was on par with Cracker barrel/ Denny's
The pancakes were certainly made with a box mix. The syrup is prepackaged Smuckers corn syrup. Overall it's okay, but not the best around.
Great breakfast spot. New building renovation in lobby and restaurant. Great price. Pancakes! Hours 900-300pm
Dont Play with me, why is this my first time in here.Established in 2014, I feel like I've been cheated and I know there's been more than 66 people in here. Somebody lied.

This is by far one of best places I’ve visited in a while. The atmosphere when you first enter has a very upscale feel. The service was great they were so so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing I don’t think I’ve finished my so fast since the military. The BBQ sandwich was cook to perfection. Even though it was lunch the cook/owner still offered to cook us breakfast. I could go on and on but I want you to please come give café 13 a try for yourself. I know I’ll be back and very often might I add.

Happened to find this restaurant on a recent trip to G’boro. What a pleasant, welcome surprise! I had the breakfast plate. Everything was cooked to order. For $15 I had more food than I could eat! The owner and his daughter were working. 2 of the nicest, friendliest people I’ve met. It’s located inside an Office building on Elm St. Greensboro, this place is worth finding!!
