My crew was enjoying the temporary ice skating rink downtown when I needed to warm up a bit. I walked over to Lawn Service located beside LeBauer Park. I ordered a hot chocolate at the bar. The bartender was super nice. She took my order right away and I received my drink quickly. The hot chocolate was very good. Just the right amount of chocolate and texture. Yum! Lawn service is definitely a bar I recommend if you want to spend any time outside in downtown Greensboro! On warm, sunny days or during Christmas/winter activities, lawn service always has the right beverage for your mood. They are the first ones to introduce me to cold brew lemonade which I have become obsessed with and I absolutely loved the spiked hot apple cider I got last week at the Festival of Lights. I love these small restaurants in LeBauer park and have been thrilled to take advantage of them. We normally just stop in for a drink as we visit the area but this time we brought the kids for ice cream and waffles - both were a major hit with the younger ones. Service was friendly and quick. Our food and drinks were both great.
