“Went with a friend to try some crepes. Lovely atmosphere, large menu, lots of coffee and tea options. The (I'm assuming) owner was very nice, and the woman at the register was sweet and put up with our indecisiveness lol. I definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely be coming back. I recommend the Nutella and fruit crepe!“

“Today I had one of the best brunch/foodie experiences of my life. I randomly stumbled upon Chez Genèse in Greensboro, NC and realized that the majority of employees were of special needs. That’s not to discount from any of the service or food, that’s just what their mission as a brand is. To service people brought into this life at a disadvantage. That being said, the food there was amazing! I got the lemon ricotta pancakes with a side of bacon, + a couple mimosas, because I’m human. I had no issues with the food. The service… was the service, which was great! I went in expecting an annoyed 23 year old who doesn’t even want to be there, but instead got a guy who was overjoyed to be there.I loved everything about my experience and I wish there were more restaurants that catered to this demographic. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that asks and would encourage you to seek out others that do the same.**anyone that gives this place less than a 5 ⭐️ review should not be trusted in any way in life**“

“I was looking for a place to get loose teas. They have a nice little shop with some of the most friendly people working there. I'm just getting started with something other than pre bagged tea and they talked me through many aspects. They have many other items besides just tea, so I would recommend checking them out. There are two tables inside to sit and have a cup there and a pastry. Not a huge pastry selection, but a nice place to talk to some friendly staff and have a cup of tea.“

“I've lived in Greensboro all my life and never once thought about going to this place. It's a hidden Gem here and I never thought about checking this place out. Originally I discovered this on Instagram, I was surprised about it. There is parking right by it and my boyfriend and I wanted to see what this place had in store. We tried the White chocolate Raspberry coffee. The lady behind the counter was the sweetest we stepped in and were immediately greeted she let us try the coffee first to see if we liked it. And the inside of the shop made me feel cozy it was like I was walking into a home with the smell of coffee in the air. Really good and I highly recommend it cheap and affordable but also delicious!“

I think I waited for about 2 minutes and my drink was done. The place also was really nice and they had a nice sitting area. They were also playing K-pop which was fun for me to listen to while I waited for my drink to be made.“

“My crew was enjoying the temporary ice skating rink downtown when I needed to warm up a bit. I walked over to Lawn Service located beside LeBauer Park. I ordered a hot chocolate at the bar. The bartender was super nice. She took my order right away and I received my drink quickly. The hot chocolate was very good. Just the right amount of chocolate and texture. Yum! It came in one size and it was a bit small, but it was tasty and was good enough for my visit. If I stayed longer, I would love to have a bigger cup. If you don't sit at the bar, there are tables between the two restaurants or you can sit on a bench along Davie St or closer to the park. I will definitely visit this location again. They had a great selection of beer and wine. Their menu also had a selection of baked goods (waffles, cookies). Stop by! Great addition to our downtown area.“

“After spending the night in the shadiest hotel I’ve ever stayed, I was looking for a comfortable spot to just chill with my son for a bit with a nice cup of coffee. Tate Street Coffee House did not disappoint! The vibe is chill, and welcoming, and the coffee is amazing. Admitted I am a little boring with my coffee, just a good old cup of black with cream and sugar, but now I wish they were much closer to St. Louis!“

“This is one of my five year olds favorite places! The Greensboro Science Center offers a wonderful learning experience. Lots of hands on activities and opportunities for the imaginations to explore! This is a very well kept facility with extremely knowledgeable staff. The Winter Wonder Lights is also a big hit. They add to this event every year. The carousel is a huge hit all year long. It's indoors so it remains a good opportunity for fun no matter the weather.“

“Nice small store with a variety of foods. Went on a weekend and they had warm homemade tamales, tortillas, and papusas. Bought some fresh tortillas as well. All very good! They said they usually have both corn and flour tortillas but they were out of flour. The owners also have a restaurant in the NE part of town and I look forward to trying it.“

Cafe Expresso East Coffee Shops • $
1000 Club Rd, Greensboro

“Located by the golf course within the Grandover Resort, this spot is ideal for grabbing a bite to eat or enjoying an alcoholic beverage. With seating available both indoors and outdoors on the patio, you can choose your preferred setting. Service is generally decent when it's not too busy, but depending on the time of day, it can get quite crowded, leading to slightly slower service. I opted for a bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries, not much room to mess that up.“

French Toast Combo

“Cute, quaint, breakfast spot downtown. Manny's is a long time business in downtown Greensboro-he's been around for 17 years. I've been past it a few times but was able to stop this past Saturday. There's a few tables to sit and eat inside as well as some outside patio seating. They offer craft coffees, breakfast, light lunch options, beer, and wine. I had the pancake breakfast with bacon and eggs. Everything was cooked fresh and made to order and was good. It took about 20 minutes for our food to be prepared which is longer than I would imagine for breakfast but the results were well worth it. They're only open on Fridays and Saturdays so if you're in the area, stop by and support a local, long time, classic.“
