The Avacado toast is amazing! I subbed the beets with arugula and it was top notch. Great fried egg too! Drinks were yummy, a small wait but worth it

The food and everything was great! I like the no tipping policy. If I come back, I will probably be selective in what I buy because it's so unaffordable for the common folk. $14 for a simple sandwich seems extreme. I was glad to see the prices hopefully letting them pay their employees a good wage since customers are told to not leave a tip. I bout had my socks knocked off when I slipped into the company store inside of a little closet to the north side of the restaurant because they had a whole quiche priced at $35. Maybe I'm too out of touch, but from where I come from a whole quiche should cost less than $10...maybe $15 if it's a really nice one. I'm thinking this place must be for the rich people of Greensboro. I just can't wrap my head around how it was so crowded and all these customers are paying these prices regularly. Then again, I hope the profit of these high prices are going back to the employees. It was an enjoyable visit, and I hope to visit again! The food was great for the price:quality, but if you're looking price:quantity this is not your place.

If you desire something savory, not the place. Overpriced in my opinion. Something made with 2 eggs, cost 2 dozen eggs.

Chez Genese has become a family favorite ❤️ I am happy to support this locally owned restaurant on a mission towards making the world a more inclusive place. A truly lovely place to eat, delicious food and ambiance - I highly recommend it!
Lovely space, friendly staff and delicious food. Thank you!
What a great place to dine for breakfast/ brunch. The potatoes are to die for and the French toast is superb. The service, atmosphere, and values of this establishment make this such a gem in Greensboro to frequent.

Chez Genese is always such a lovely experience. Every city should have one! From the airy plant-filled decor to the staff, and of course the food. Healthy, local, fresh. It’s a perfect spot for brunch or to take family. Love the cause too.

I’ve been hearing about Chez Genèse and finally had the time to check it out this morning. Everyone was so friendly, the restaurant itself is super cute, and it took less than five minutes for me to get a table. (Saturdays always look super packed, but that’s to be expected when a place is as good as this.) I ordered off the a la carte menu and asked for scrambled eggs, bacon, and the lemon ricotta pancake with fresh blueberries. Man listen, everything was delicious. The eggs were scrambled perfectly. The bacon was fresh and crispy. The lemon ricotta pancake was unreal. I don’t know how they managed to get the consistency of a pancake creamy and fluffy at the same time but they did and there are zero notes for it. I don’t even care about pancakes but heard everyone raving about it and gave it a shot. No regrets. My waiter (Richmond) was excellent, attentive, and probably some of the best service I’ve had in a while. I will 1000% be back and recommending this place to anyone with taste buds.

This place was cute and near the university which was the attraction for us as we wanted to pick up a quick bite before attending an event. The place was a little on the pricey side. My sister ordered 6 egg whites and the price was 24 dollars. Didn’t expect that at all but we were in a rush and hungry so we went ahead and ordered. Once the eggs came out about 20mins later they lacked seasoning and flavor. However I ordered a croissant sandwich and it was very delicious . I would probably go back if I wasn’t on a time crunch.

Beautiful breakfast spot with the nicest servers and such a cool concept. If I recall correctly they told me every server has some sort of disability AND they take their French theme seriously by paying their workers livable wages and having signs saying not to tip, because that’s the French way. I had the dutch baby and and my husband had a croque of some sort. We both left with several pastries and baked goods. Everything was awesome.

Had a wonderful brunch experience with several friends, fantastic atmosphere. I love what they are trying to do here creating a restaurant that is an experience and something different and better. Service was excellent, and their commitment to kindness & respect in their atmosphere was refreshing. It was a joy to eat here.
