Thank you to the waitress wearing pink today I think they called her Lauren, heard her saying where food is being brought in from can’t believe what I heard. She didn’t have a very pleasant attitude talking about hating Fridays. If I decide to go back hopefully I will get a better server.

Sorry to inform you about your waitress but I know what I heard and seen. Maybe that’s what’s wrong with your business looking back at previous reviews.

Owner was very rude to us and had no hospitality. There were roaches everywhere, on the floor, in the food, just disgusting! Do not ever eat here!

The service was just horrible they were so mean for absolutely no reason the lady that served me had her crack out the entire time I just lost my appetite and I saw a few bugs just please don’t eat here

Never go here! Very poor sanitation and quality standards. I went years ago and was served a glass of tea with someone’s lipstick on it.

While waiting for a text from the DMV, we decided to find a place close by that served REAL food & this place is the ticket! You step inside and it's Mayberry, I Love Lucy and all days of ol' memorabilia welcoming you along with friendly service, too! Generously sized sausage, egg & cheese biscuit was excellent for the price (2 for a total of $8.11!), cooked hot and tasty. Then ordered chocolate chip pancakes to go-yummy!
Country cooking down the road from the DMV (2 minute drive, 18 minute walk) and not far from UNCG (5 minute drive)
If you have to wait for the DMV, you might as well eat & enjoy!☺️

This restaurant has been a Greensboro staple since I was a baby and longer. And it doesn’t matter how long it’s been since you last visited, you will see the same sweet faces and they will remember your face. The food is consistently country, home-cooked, deliciousness, and there is literally nothing on their menu that I would not recommend to a friend. Thursdays are country style steak and gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans and that makes me a happy camper! Their cornbread has a variety of flavors to choose from and is always fresh baked and delicious as all their baked goods. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a trip to days gone by, perhaps Mayberry, I really can’t say enough good things about Colosseum café and if my grandmother were alive, she would say the same! I hope these people are doing business for another 50 years

Vegetarian options: Lots of country veges to choose from and it’s of bread options as well as salads-would double check to see if they add pork to beans for flavoring.

?Make sure to bring CASH!!!

??The Colluseum Cafe is probably my favorite place in Greensboro to eat. If we can get there before 11Am, they serve the most delicious breakfast! Eggs, bacon (or sausage or pork chops or steak or bologna), home fries and toast- yummy!! And SO AFFORDABLE! Honestly, the breakfast here is cheaper than McDonalds or most other fast food places .

??After 11? The lunch menu is different every day. Although they do have a daily same food items listed on the back of the menu- I Love that they serve different items all the time. The food is wonderful and cooked when you order. I can go in and get a very nice sized main entree, 2 sides, a bread and even a DRINK for less than $10!!! Now tell me, where else can I do this at?? And- Home cooked?!?

⭐Sometimes they're short staffed, but the 2 main waitress(es) are awesome!! Love y'all!!

?Thanks for giving me and my aunt a nice place to eat, with great food and a friendly atmosphere!!
