My mom and I went for the first time today after hearing great reviews! I have to say I was not disappointed at ALL I had the chicken wing dinner and my mom had the fried whiting we both really enjoyed our food! Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful, not to mention the staff was spot on and friendly!! Will be returning!

My name is Wayne and I'm from the ATL. I'm use to eating good Soul Food and Funderburk's did not disappoint me. Actually, it was some of the best food outside of my Mother's kitchen. I had the privilege of eating at the America's Dr. location. By the way I had the Smothered Pork Chops and the Crispy Fried Chicken. Thanks to the three Angels who took good care of me. ❤

A friend suggested this place several months ago, but just got the change to try. The family and I wanted a "home cooked Sunday dinner". Our orders were for the BBQ ribs dinner: meaty tender ribs, fell off the bone, not smothered in sauce. Dinner included two sides: collards -very fresh, not salty, but we added vinegar for our own taste; and sweet potatoes -very tasty, definitely not out the can or smothered in marshmallows, nutmeg, etc; A+.
