Briy is the best customer service
Pleasantly surprised for an after church lunch
This is my first time at Joe's and the food chicken was amazing. The sauces and spices. It was just spectacular. This is a must try. It's delicious reasonably priced. I was talking with one of the district managers who was running the store. It was just a great chicken place with delicious chicken, and their sauces were amazing. This rivals, every other chicken place. I've ever and it's better than most

Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings is a restaurant known for its delicious chicken, sauces, and flavorful dishes. Many customers praise the chicken, describing it as amazing, tender, juicy, and cooked very well. The sauces and spices are often highlighted as spectacular and a key reason to try the place. Popular menu items include the chicken, chicken bites, rice bowl with extra spicy chicken, chicken sandwich (such as the Sando Junior), and the loaded cheese fry bowl, which receives high praise for its taste and quality. The chicken and waffles are also noted as amazing and satisfying, with portion sizes being generous. Additionally, the chicken tenders and fries are enjoyed when served hot, and the mac & cheese and okra are appreciated as tasty sides. The mango and caramel shakes are described as rich, creamy, and refreshing, adding to the overall satisfying experience.
However, the reviews also mention some drawbacks. Several customers point out issues with cleanliness and the appearance of the dining area, such as smeared windows, stains, and an odor that suggests the place may not be as fresh as it could be. Equipment problems, like soda machine issues, and indifferent customer service in some instances, also detract from the experience. One location was noted to be smaller and less decorated than others, with a slightly hostile or unwelcoming vibe upon entry. A few reviewers mention that the experience can be hit or miss, with some visits being more enjoyable than others, especially when side items like waffle fries are soft or when service is less attentive. Despite these issues, most agree that the food itself is consistently good and worth returning for, especially when ordering to go. Overall, Hangry Joe's offers flavorful, well-cooked chicken and tasty sides that keep customers coming back, even if the dining environment occasionally falls short.
