This restaurant is a solid! I haven't been disappointed in anything about this restaurant. Service on point. Food, fresh and delicious! The atmosphere nice and welcoming. This is our second visit this month.

Stopped in for date night recently and really enjoyed it. We started with the Cajun calamari as our appetizer. The coating was light and crispy and had a decent flavor but I wouldn't say it was "Cajun" to me. For my entree I got the crab cakes and a side of Mac and cheese. I loved that the crab cakes had corn salsa and a Cajun sauce on top. It really complimented the crab cakes nicely and added some flavor. I really enjoyed my dinner and the service was nice as well.

Bad experience today. Started out ok but my entree was not prepared to order and was reluctantly sent back. Instead of remaking the order they only remade the one item. Which means the rest of the plate sat waiting and was cold when returned to the table. Waitress saw the plate UNTOUCHED and still refused to ask if there was a problem. So when the check came I told her and she got an attitude and threw the dish in the bus bin. This is not something I want to deal with when there are so many other choices.

This is my first time eating here and I loved the taste in decor and atmosphere. I enjoyed my food and had no complaints for my server however I was seated near the kitchen where I had the unfortunate experience of hearing the female manager talk down and nasty to her employees several times. It got to the point she cussed at her employees for ‘allegedly’ fighting but the only commotion my table experienced was her cussing at her employees. My boyfriend who is a manager for a food restaurant even confronted the manager for her toxic behavior and attitude toward her staff. She offered a fact apology but honestly it doesn’t undo the underage ears that heard her foul mouth.

Had the honey glazed salmon. Absolutely delicious! The asparagus that came with it was overcooked and chewy. Sadness. But my husband enjoyed his pulled pork with Mac and cheese and fries. All in all a wonderful dinner.

My husband and I are having a baby this week and naming her Harper, so for fun, we decided to go to Harper's as our "last dinner out" as a family of two. I haven't been to Harper's in years and my husband hasn't at all so we didn't go in with any expectations. We arrived on the early side at 4:00pm and it wasn't crowded at all. The restaurant was clean and just how I remembered it looking on the inside. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. We ordered the calamari for our appetizer and it came out super fast. It was piping hot, crispy, and delicious. The tarter and cocktail sauce were perfect. It also came with slaw, which I'm normally super picky about, and I have to say this slaw was incredible! For our entrees, we split the Parmesan crusted trout but traded the grilled veggies for a baked sweet potato and the Chicken Supremes with fries (and more slaw!) entree because of its high reviews. Again, both entrees came out quick and hot. Both were so good. We couldn't decide which was our favorite! We will definitely be returning soon to try out the cookie skillet or key lime pie. I was too full for dessert today!

Swung by Harpers while out in GSO shopping for lunch. Been years since I've been to Harpers and forgot what a solid spot it was. Had a few Red Oaks at the bar before we ordered. The bar seating area is better than the main dining area in most other restaurants. The deviled eggs with bacon are pretty good. Could a little more seasoning for my taste but I'd order them again without hesitation. Had the ribs and collared greens for lunch. Ordered the sauce on side because side I hate ribs that are over powered with bbq sauce. Anyway, ribs were perfectly tender, collards were very good and the slaw was very solid.

We've been wanting to try this place for a while. We decided to give it a try this past weekend. We were not disappointed. We knew it was busy and were prepared to wait a while. However, it was only 15 minutes or so. Not bad at all for lunch time on a Saturday at Friendly Center. Our server came quickly to get our drinks. Although it seemed he was waiting on the entire section we were sitting in, he was genuinely friendly and welcoming. Upon bringing our drinks, we were ready to order. I ordered the Signature Chicken Supremes. I got a baked potato with butter and sour cream. Surprisingly, the food came out quickly. It seems funny to say, but the entire meal was beautiful. The chicken was actually individual pieces white chicken breasts, not the generic looking chicken fingers type of thing. It was lightly breaded and very tender, juicy and flavorful without being even slightly greasy. The baked potatoe was huge. It was good and hot to melt the sour cream and butter. It was perfectly cooked and the skin was lightly salted and buttered so I could eat that too. While eating, the served check on us frequently and kept our glasses full. He was so busy but still efficient and friendly. After we were finished, we took our plates and asked about to go drinks or dessert. We skipped dessert and each got a drink to go. He promptly came back with our check and immediately took our card to pay instead of coming back. He thanked us with a big smile. The prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of the food and the portions. We will definitely be back! Sometime we're going to go there for dinner. I'm sure it's going to be just as good as lunch. If you're in Greensboro, check it out!
