I've been to a lot Pho restaurants over the years. Their Pho is decent and the curry was ok (they didn't fill up the takeout container last go around). I do recommend their fresh spring rolls. They are really good. One of the best Fresh Spring Rolls I've had.
I love pho was my introduction to Vietnamese cuisine. The pho is very flavorful and the vegetables are super fresh every time. My family and I fight over the bean sprouts and limes every time. We mostly come here just for the pho, but we will be trying other foods in the future. The service was very prompt and super friendly and welcoming. We were very grateful when we were having a late dinner and ate past their closing time, yet they still welcomed us and didn’t fuss at all....
Hate to give this place 3 stars but my (Vietnamese) wife and I were left unimpressed with the food. The bun bo hue and bun rieu were both average, without the complex flavors we've gotten even at other NC Vietnamese restaurants. Their version of pad Thai was also average.
The fish dish was pretty good, and the pho was above average as well, which were the saving graces.
Pho Hien Vuong has the superior food.
