Imperial Koi Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar

The food was great and the staff was very friendly. And they were very reasonably priced. I've been to other Asian restaurants that serve the same type of food (i.e. the boat platter with sushi) and they were much more expensive. Will def go back.

This was the first time in years that I had eaten at Imperial Koi and wow....what improvements! Everything about our evening was perfect. We had spring rolls and rangoon that were so good that we ordered a seconds. For dinner I had the salmon dish and it was so unique and delicious and my friend had the broccoli beef and it was outstanding. The service was perfect...quick, polite and not gabby! The value is spot on....We will definitely return soon.

Nice, semi upscale restaurant with good food. Our waitress was so kind and attentive. A little on the pricey side but the food was cooked really well.

Still the best sushi in town. Great service. Kim did such a good job as our server. All of the sushi chefs are masters at preparation and presentation. Lisa made the plate in my photo. It was delicious!

Restaurant was weirdly quiet for dinner when restaurants around it were full. We had made a reservation for dinner and felt silly walking in. We realized that unless you order a sushi roll, everything else was tiny portions and lacking in taste. For the price it was not worth it and we won't be back. The sushi was fine but definitely no where close to the best in town.

As we arrived at 6:45 for dinner service, we were pleased to see the restaurant basically empty. Didn’t realize there was a reason. We were promptly greeted and seated. A few minutes later the waitress came by to take our drink order, but didn’t give us an opportunity to order an appetizer. In about 10-15 mins she returned with drinks (tea and a water) and proceeded to take our order. We ordered an appetizer, the monthly special sushi roll and a chicken and shrimp hibachi. After waiting 25 minutes for the appetizer, we had almost given up hope. But it arrived, and was the best part of the meal. 5-10 mins later the meal showed up. Worst most bland sushi I’ve ever had. And the hibachi was confusing at best, having to pay extra for “fried rice” is a bit ridiculous. None-the-less, after only eating a few pieces of the sushi roll we set it aside, and informed the waitress that it was terrible. She then asked if she could take it but offered nothing in return. Lesson learned, reoccurring customer lost. I will be bragging on your service to EVERYONE I know….

Our waitress Thao was the sweetest! She made me and my sister laugh the whole time and was just such good vibes all around. Great service and awesome food — definitely coming back!

The sushi was excellent. Great balance with the ingredients. Favorable amount of tobiko with the special roles and they looked like are as well. Be patient as the orders may take a little while but we'll worth the wait. Good views from the restaurant and great vibes. Someone at our table ordered the chicken and rice. It was exceptional.

This place has the BEST sushi in North Carolina! It’s always 10/10, and the staff are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet! Very relaxing atmosphere! Definitely recommend!!

Great food good service. Salmon spoons were a great start as was the chicken pork gyoza. Pad Thai was soo good. Rolls were fantastic as well. Finished with tempura cheesecake and the fried bananas. Overall a nice place with a nice atmosphere. Would definitely return.

Can’t say enough good about this restaurant. Food superb, atmosphere, white tablecloth, very nice outdoor seating and the politeness and attentiveness of the Chinese servers makes it a real treat. And reasonably priced.

Food was delicious. Cocktails were terrible again. Every martini tasted like water. This has been a recurring issue.

Very good spot. Love the warm hand towel touch at the end. Sophie (waitress) was wonderful to my family. Will be back!
