Overpriced, unfriendly staff, food not great

My husband and I went to KPot for the first time in FL for our honeymoon and loved it. We wanted to have that experience again and it was ever better here. We had Scout as our server and she was amazing. Especially with my husband’s request for an extra large Pepsi (she understood the assignment 😂). Thank you, Scout, for making this experience better than we expected!!!

The food is absolutely delicious! The salmon is the best I've ever had! Drinks are good as well. Definitely recommend trying.

My only issue is they do not understand pregnancy issues and don't care there's a two hour food period. Me being pregnant second trimester I'm constantly running to the bathroom so I paid 98.00 for me and my husband to eat and finally when I got settled too sit down finally eat I was handed the bill yes we ordered server was nice but I didn't have any time to sit down and enjoy my meal I was rushed out and despite trying to explain I'm pregnant and ran to the bathroom at least 5 times they did not care so if I could rate a lower rating I would on top of that anytime I actually needed the waiter he was never there my husband waited a whole 2 hours to get a refill on his drink. So if you're pregnant in your second or third trimester and you're craving Korean BBQ I highly suggest you don't go to this restaurant I've always been entirely honest and I would normally say that the food is great and the service is great however when you're not able to sit down and actually eat your food it's not a great service because you're being rushed out and then on top of it whatever you don't cook on the stove within that 2 hour. If it's over a certain amount you will get charged normally I have no issues with this normally I can eat all the food that we order with no problem but being a pregnant woman constantly running back and forth to the bathroom I'm unable to cook the food I ordered in that time period and was not given a chance to sit down and eat

Had Christmas dinner with my family, and it wasn't just some good food, it was an entire experience. The restaurant itself is really nice and clean, and everyone who works there is insanely friendly. I had an absolute blast with my family here - the communal aspect of the meal was really fun and unique. The food itself was phenomenal - the hot pot is phenomenal and offers so many different options, and the mushroom lover in me was thrilled. The BBQ was a delight across the board, with so many choices you could have a series of completely different meals in a single sitting. My personal favorites were the spicy bulgogi and the short rib, and those alone were worth the trip. The bar has all kinds of sauces, and it brought me further joy. This place is worth every penny - great food, good service, and a singular kind of meal to share with friends and family!

Kenia liseth E was an okay server as best, and when we got our broth, we notified a server walking by, he said okay gimme a second, and after our actual server came by, he asked if it was working now, 25 minutes after he originally came. On top of that, it was like 55 degrees in there, also forgot over half of our food and took 30 minutes FOR A WATER REFILL.

We went to eat last night at K-Pot and frequent this place often. I grew up in California, so this is the only place in NC that is truly a Korean-Taiwanese inspired Hotpot place. The food and meat were incredibly fresh and the service was excellent! Miranda was our waitress and make our experience wonderful. It is so important to have an incredible staff and delicious food to elevate the whole experience. Though dinner is quite pricey, you get a truly authentic Asian experience. This does remind me of home.

You sometimes have very attentive servers sometimes you dont. Came to celebrate my bday. We had to keep waving our waitress down. And I think only 1 vent out of all the tables being used. Its so smokey tonight

Food was ok. Kimchi wasn't up to par. Sad they had no banchan. Kimchi and cucumbers kimchi that was it. At one point they gave us the wrong meat at the end asked for pork and was given chicken. Soup was ok. I got the Thai and hubs got the Miso. Veggies and soup additives were yummy and perfect. Service was great place was clean and spacious.

Everything was good and expected to be with hot pot, only thing is we felt that some items were overly sweet in comparison to traditional Korean bbq, hotpot broth was tasty. Once items were ordered they were at the table within a respectable time for how busy it was.

Went here with a party of 5 and ordered a lot to share. None of us had been to kpot before and we weren’t given any instructions other than how to order. We didn’t know how the grill worked and they never changed it so we were cooking on top of burnt crust the entire time. After receiving our food they informed us it’s a no waste policy and we would be charged $14 per lb of food wasted. While our intentions weren’t to waste we do wish we were informed prior to ordering. Halfway into our meal they let us know they were shutting everything down so we no longer had access to part of what we paid for and told us we needed to pay then. They also didn’t inform us that because we were a party of 5, there was a 20% gratuity automatically when we saw our waitress one time. Almost right after we paid they just cut our grill off without saying anything and we could no longer cook our food. While the place is nice and well kept we were extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency, the lack of communication and the food quality was poor given that the grill had turned black and crusty 10 minutes into eating. I don’t think we will be returning unfortunately as this was not a great first experience for any of us.

We got Korean BBQ and Hot Pot. Everything was excellent and the quality was great. Definitely worth the price, will be back!

Good food but terrible service. Waiters will often forget about your table. Last time I was here the waitress sat us and never refilled our drinks the entire meal, over an hour! What the heck?
