Went to Maxi B’s yesterday for the first time in a few months, I was ready to get my favorite slice of red velvet cake… Maxi B’s usually serves generous portions, which to me makes it well worth it for the drive. Sweet treats and warm drinks! I had an "18 carat" cupcake and an organic vanilla cardamom white tea. Everything is beautifully displayed, so choosing is no easy thing. The cupcake was above average on sweetness but still within my sweetness preference (as in not over the top sweet). It balanced well with my tea, which I took without adding sugar. The sitting area is welcoming and cozy, perfect for gathering with friends. I will definitely be going back. Often.
