I was so excited to order a pizza with vegan cheese from a restaurant. In the past I have made them at home. I picked up my pizza. I drove straight home. All of this to open my pizza box to find cold pizza. I will not buy anything else from Mellow Mushroom of Greensboro, NC.

Awesome experience at Mellow Mushroom Greensboro! The Holy Shiitake and Smashburger were both fantastic, and the food overall was top notch. The vibe inside was perfect — fun, relaxed, and welcoming — and the chandelier lights in the dining room looked absolutely amazing. Definitely a spot I’ll be back to.

Fun atmosphere with some nice choices on the menu. We got their Mighty Meaty pizza. Very tasty! For our starter we enjoyed some hot wings, that weren't all that spicy but had a great flavor. Great place to spend a Friday evening with friends and family.

The Holy Shitake Mushroom pizza? Pizza Heaven!!! I first had one on a family trip to Boone (NC) and was on a mission to get back to the Mellow Mushroom in downtown Greensboro for another! I was with my daughter and the granddemons, 7 and 4, and it was as great as the first time. The service was quick and staff very friendly and efficient. Conveniently located on S. Elm, although parking can take a little look-around searching, strolling on S. Elm is a fun experience every time and worth the stroll. Treat yourself to an excellent pizza, atmosphere, and great customer service!

We usually really enjoy the pizza here. We had a delivery pizza tonight and it was extremely hot/spicy and couldn't feed it to our kids- we could barely eat it ourselves 😂 we called the restaurant to explain our concern and they were pretty dismissive and unfortunately were not interested in fixing the problem.

Huge and almost always packed for a good reason, this chain has some of the best pizza in NC. All the basics done right, strong drinks, great staff, phenomenal food. Worth being on the pricier side for groups.

First time ordering, my meal was decent. I had the new burger with special sauce on the side. My tater tots were luke warm but tasty. The burger was great! We ate at the bar, great service by the guy.
I had a really tasty pizza and crushed a Greek salad. Really solid beer selection here on tap; sipped on a Foothills Jade IPA and was not disappointed. Next time I’m in town I will need to stop by !

Best Pizza around - also has full menu of sandwiches and pasta - Mellow Mushroom is a staple around Boone - Ashville and NC -- This particular one is in Greensboro NC -- if you like hand tossed good pizza -- both traditional toppings and specialty pizzas - this is the place - there's also one in Winston-Salem ☆ you can't go wrong with any of them--as a person that made hand tossed pizza throughout my high school and college career- Take it from me and get your butt to Mellow Mushroom -- Ha ha ha

The service at the location is okay. The servers are nice but long times in between checking and the managers arent watching the floor.
Atmosphere and experience was not good. We were seating near the front window, and a homeless guy walked in and came up to us asking for money. Then he asked if he could wait for us outfront. We were very uncomfortable. He finally left, not once did a manager or server come over or say anything and check on us. At the time there was only 3 tables and we were only 15 feet from the hostess stand.
I love mellow, but not this location. Ill continue to visit other more comfortable dining locations elsewhere.
