I absolutely enjoy coming to Melrose on the weekends. The customer service from the door to the bar was excellent. They make you feel so important. It is a little warm in there and the seating isn't the best so either get there early if you want a seat or be prepared to stand. I will be back!

When we went in on a weekday morning, it was still a bit messy from the lounge being open the night before. There was no one there besides one barista behind the counter (they were great) so we ordered coffee and tried to order breakfast but they were out of everything... May we just came on an "off" day. I will say coffee was great, unique flavors, and the barista was kind.

Sadly, my most recent trip was a really unsatisfactory encounter. The entire experience was lacking in quality and left more to be desired. A major disappointment was the menu. Despite their claims to provide a wide selection of coffee selections, the quality fell short of the expectations. My latte tasted burnt and lukewarm, which is a sign of inadequate coffee prep or cheap beans. Furthermore, the costs were too high considering the subpar quality provided. I felt like I overpaid for a mediocre experience, even though I had expected more for my money. All in all, Melrose fell short of even the most minimal standards for a coffee shop. If you're searching for good quality coffee or a cozy cafe setting, I wouldn't suggest it, just save yourself the trouble and go to common grounds or something.

This place is chic and is the perfect place to add a bit of sophistication to your traditional coffee date. Not only is the coffee good but the pastries are too. You cannot go wrong with their croissants! The baristas are well-dressed and courteous. Truly a class act!

this was truly a hidden gem in Greensboro I knew nothing about. went here for a friend's birthday and it was amazing. we had vip, staff was attentive and set up is awesome. great use of space!
