Husband and I were super excited to tryout this new place. Unfortunately, was not able to due to poor service. We walked in and was not greeted ( which its fine I understand its not always the case) stood there to be seated and waiters saw us and never offered us menus nor seats. Husband and I proceeded to seat ourselves not to mention another couple came in right after us and they got offered menus and were seated right away. Sat there for some time with waiters walking right pass us and yet nothing. After a while we just decided it was time to leave and as we were walking to the door that's when the waiter decided to come to us and asked if we were dining in. Sad that we didn't get to try their food.

Entrees and ramen are all amazing but the rice that comes with the hawaiian plates is way too dry and they put too much cabbage with the fried / katsu plates

The food was amazing, fresh, and cheap for the portion you get!
It was the weekend so it was busy and you can tell the staff were overwhelmed! they were doing their best. I felt sad watching a few other customers be extremely unkind. Please show grace to hospitality workers and small businesses!

By far, the best restaurant I have eaten at on the east cost of the US, from high end to holes in the wall. Food is extremely flavorful and perfectly cooked. Only suggestions are please take octopus off the menu, and use paper instead of plastic.

Food is fantastic! My favorite is the Fried Rice although the ramen is pretty damn good. Have not tried the bbq but look forward to my next visit. Super casual, reminds me of big city Asian take out with inside eating. Must try!
My rating is on the food!
Long review:
The food is great; service is good, atmosphere is come as you are and below is my breakdown.
Ramen is great with the pork based broth simmered with 16 hrs of attention and care resulting in delicious tender pork and rich broth. You have a choice of broth but I recommend the Tan Tan.
Appetizers are really good with incredibly fresh calamari that is fried yet tender. The spring rolls are tasty and the pork buns are good; light and airy with a slice of that incredible pork. My son said this was his favorite!
Surprisingly they have Kim Chee that was fresh and not a hint of sourness (IYKYK).
Sides served with the combo: the Fried Rice is the best in town! As an Asian American it reminds me of how my mother would make it at home and is my personal reason for which I will return.
Atmosphere: At first I was confused because the place was packed and there was a line at the counter. Interior reminds me of an eat-in take out that can seat about 35 people. Fountain drinks available and self serve with a small selection of Asian specialty drinks refrigerated. Utensils are all plastic including the bowls and plates; nothing fancy so when you get a craving for Ramen after work, after the gym or working outside no worries here.

Best Takoyaki I've had, super crispy outside, super creamy center with big chunks of octopus. The chasu is melt in your mouth and the broth is perfectly seasoned, rich, and savory. Will definitely be back.

Had the Kalua pork with cabbage and the macaroni salad. The serving amount for the salad was respectable, and the main
meal itself was HUGE. the cabbage was cooked so well. At first, I thought it was grilled onions; which I welcomed happily. However, after realizing it was indeed cabbage, I was super impressed at how well it was made. It’s a super flavorful combo that complimented the flavors of the pork. The shredded pork is very tender. Easily this meal can feed two. Great price sitting sound 10.99. Must have with a Hawaiian Sun to wash it down with.

Food was great!! Surprised at the amount of food that came with the order. We did end up over ordering lol (i thought the portions would be small). My wife and kids had the tonkotsu and shoyu ramen both were very tasty. It came in HUGE bowl amazing! I had the grilled beef with rice also yummy. Appetizers were the gyoza 👌🏽 musubi so very tasty and we also had the pork bun extremely tasty. Also servers were very attentive to our needs. I would definitely come here again when we’re in the neighborhood.
