Unbelievable! Disrespectful to customers! I am very disappointed. I drove 22 minutes to your restaurant because your online app says you're open even today for the holiday. You came highly recommended. Even your sign out front "right now" as I sit here says open, but you're not. What a waste of time!!!

Nice quiet place to have a meal. Dine in for lunch, prices were very reasonable, service was fast and friendly. The ambience was quiet and peaceful. Would visit again.

This is a perfect place to have dinner before an event at the Coliseum! My wife and I showed up at 5:45 on a Thursday and the service was extremely quick and friendly. Miso soup and salad with ginger dressing was amazing and so was the chicken and shrimp hibachi.

Why is this place empty. Fast service and good food. Salad with ginger dress was great and Hibachi shrimp and chicken was classic and good.

Terrible sushi. They need to take it off the menu. The chicken hibachi, the chicken was way over cooked, it was crunchy and dry.

So... the place was empty at 5:45 on a Saturday night. The place was cute. The meat was overcooked and the rice was bland. They don't have mixed drinks. Very few choices for wine and bear as well. The waitstaff was very accommodating, but there was a language barrier. Very sweet ladies. Great prices, but could use a better chef.

I probably would not return. If I could I would have given a 2.5 star rating, but given that is not an option I have rounded up b/c the staff was so friendly and attentive. The building and decor are showing their age, but the place is well kept and clean. Aside from the seaweed salad, which was hard to finish, all the food was decent but a little bland (had a variety of appetizers, several sushi rolls, and two of the Thai main dishes) . As noted by some other reviewers the place is eerily empty (6:30pm on a Saturday), but I now get why - there is nothing standout about this restaurant.

The server was patient kind and professional. 3 generations had this to say:Excellent soup & veggie fried dumplings!Thai Red Curry with tofu was deliciously spicy!Thai Basil with tofu was exceptional!!Thoroughly enjoyed the Hibachi shrimp!Pad Rahd Nar with chicken was very very good!!

There's a reason its empty..We tried it based on the good reviews and were sorry we did. Very limited sushi menu & the one other table of diners told us to skip it so we ordered steamed dumplings & pad thai. Dumplings were cool to cold. Pad Thai was a decent portion with pretty good flavor but no crushed peanuts which has been on it everywhere else I've had it. Service was very slow considering it was almost empty. Waitress was clueless and couldn't answer any questions about the menu so we just laughed between ourselves and didnt ask any more.

For starters why isn't this place packed. Skip ahead to the dash for the details. We're from out of state visiting my parents who are locals. My parents wanted to go to a place they've been before but and I was tasked with making reservations. Luckily that place with a 2.5 yelp review was "booked up" this evening (Saturday before Easter). It gave me the chance to find something a bit more liked by fellow reviewers. I came across Sakura Ichiban. So, teservations for 5:30 Saturday, yeah it's early my parents act older then they are. Anyways, the parking lot is empty (probably because there is an Ichiban Supreme Buffet literally across the street). Pros - incredibly clean, like you can't tell it's a restaurant from the smell clean. From the dining room to the bathrooms it was immaculate. - Our waitress was very sweet and offered suggestions, actually suggested to us as we ordered the crab wontons because it was 5 pieces (we had 5 people) another 5 piece app. We her up on it (spring rolls) and it was very good. - the food was fantastic. We stuck to hibachi and Thai. Each one was awesome. Had Thai basil chicken the other was beef, pad Thai, veggie hibachi, and veggie fried rice w/tofu. Everything came out when ready so each person came out within 1-2 mins of each other. Food was super hot and fresh. Not very greasy, nice portions and fresh. Some of the best I've had in quite awhile. Cons- there was no one here. Literally we were the only ones in the restaurant, granted it was a little early but still someone else should be here. It gives you that feeling of "should we even eat here" when it's empty. Whatever the reason they are wrong. This place is very good and I highly recommend it. Can't wait for the next visit to try it out.
