So... the place was empty at 5:45 on a Saturday night. The place was cute. The meat was overcooked and the rice was bland. They don't have mixed drinks. Very few choices for wine and bear as well. The waitstaff was very accommodating, but there was a language barrier. Very sweet ladies. Great prices, but could use a better chef.
I probably would not return. If I could I would have given a 2.5 star rating, but given that is not an option I have rounded up b/c the staff was so friendly and attentive. The building and decor are showing their age, but the place is well kept and clean. Aside from the seaweed salad, which was hard to finish, all the food was decent but a little bland (had a variety of appetizers, several sushi rolls, and two of the Thai main dishes) . This is a perfect place to have dinner before an event at the Coliseum! My wife and I showed up at 5:45 on a Thursday and the service was extremely quick and friendly. Miso soup and salad with ginger dressing was amazing and so was the chicken and shrimp hibachi.
