Last week I visited this shop to grab a smoothie for my wife. I had no idea what would be right based off her taste. I was assisted by Gabe, who was absolutely wonderful, he took the time to go through the menu option answered my questions and made a great recommendation based on my wife’s tastes. Just had a great experience at another location out of town and was so satisfied with it that I came to this one today after the gym. Ordered mobile outside to see the perks of the app and it only said in progress the entire time even past the “promised time”. Must’ve went at too busy of a time as unfortunately the smoothie is barely drinkable and not comparable quality to other locations. Texture and flavor was super off and straight liquid.

This is the only smoothie location I come too, and usually it’s a good interaction, good smoothies/bowls, never an issue. But me and my 2 small children came in on 08/05 around 8:00 and the young girls working behind the counter were cussing like crazy. I was hoping they would realize that there were little children listening to them and that they would watch what they say, but they had zero control of their mouths it seemed like. Not only is this unprofessional but very disrespectful. I know the owner of this place would not be OK with this type of behavior.

The employees were friendly and welcoming Nya, Britney and Olivia made the whole experience better, they explained to me the different types of smoothies. The smoothie tasted really good and was made quickly. Will be coming again.

came this morning at 9:30am, placed my order 10 minutes before arriving. the workers didn’t acknowledge anyone the whole time i was in there. if someone had a mobile order they’d just sit it down quietly without saying anything while me and the other 3 customers would have to ask who it’s for. after 30 minutes since placing my order i finally got my smoothie and there was so much liquid… go to the tate street location instead

I haven't been in this store before and I have no idea how long it's been here. The staff was friendly. The young woman I asked couldn't tell me how long the store had been there or what it had been before. The smoothie tastes fine. I'm giving a two-star rating because the store is absolutely filthy. I used the restroom and it was grungy. You can look around the store and just see that the floor is filthy. There's trash on it, the tables are rusted, hardware is in disrepair, the floors and the walls are gross. There's just stains all over everything, I caught a glimpse of the back of the house which also looked filthy. I almost walked out. It looked like the blenders were decent enough. I did ask for the owners name and phone number which I now have but would not ever post publicly. But please sir, for the sake of your customers and for the sake of your employees, give this place a complete overhaul and a deep cleaning. Thank you.

It's been a while since I've tried something new. I'm so glad I made a planned stumble into this place. Smoothie King is no secret... but WOW! I've found my go-to place for a self-care treat. The young staff didn't make me feel like a total idiot when I told them that I didn't know where to start. The bright-eyed smoothie-maker extraordinaire simply asked what fruits I liked, and she, with the speed of an AI generated response, said I'd like the Pinapple Surf. She was spot on! Long review summary: this place is fantastic. Go ahead and treat yourself to anything they have. It's all so good!

Very disappointed with service today. I've been to this location a few times and not the most friendliest atmosphere most of the time. Only depends on who's working. Today was different, I sent my husband in (he is new to this location) to pick up a acai bowl for me lunch. He proceeded to place an order and was greeted by an employee by the name of DENISE instructed another employee to fix the order because in her own words "I'M NOT DOING ALL THAT" Mind you my order was very simple I just excluded the drizzle and granola on the side to be exact from the bowl(not complicated). I receive the bowl and not only was it the bowl lacking fruit but they substituted the blueberries for something they normally don't use. With a bowl that cost close to $13.00 it was lacking. I proceeded to call the store and spoke to (DENISE). Her excuse is they ran out of the blueberries. Well next time don't make bowls that consist of that ingredient or better yet offer the customer something else to go into the bowl. Her disposition on the phone was lacking so I requested to speak to a manager to my surprise she indicated she was one of them (I think more training is needed to be a manager) or better yet don't work somewhere that requires you to be nice to clients. As of now I have yet to receive a return call from another manager. I think corporate needs to come into this store and see what's going on. It seems to be employee moral is down.
