Son’s birthday dinner of choice was Texas Roadhouse. He had a blast, but if he’s anything like his parents as he grows, he’ll soon get that foodie palate and realize this place is not the best. You go in expecting a decent meal, average steak at mid-high prices. That’s what you’d expect when you think of Texas Roadhouse in general. And that’s how I would rate them, if they actually had decent food. We were a party of 8, all different steaks, chicken and salads. My steak was well done and black on the outside when asked for it to be medium-rare. Another was luke warm with a red center when asked for medium. Chicken salad was bland and seemed like it was sitting for a bit before making its way to the table. The cactus blossom (fried onions) was soggy. Honestly, the best thing on the menu is their famous hot and fresh bread rolls with cinnamon honey butter. Should have stopped there. Two reasons I’m not giving a 1 star here, which the food alone wholeheartedly deserves. First, we were there on a Sunday late afternoon before 4pm. The place was still packed to the brim even though it was well past lunch and a bit before the dinner rush. Our server was unbelievably patient, friendly and super attentive given the craziness of the place. Handling a table full of kids while dashing in and out around the other tables and patrons was to be commended. Secondly, and most importantly, our son had a blast. He enjoyed the meal, loved the bright blue artificially sweet drink he got and enjoyed the loud and party style atmosphere around us. It would be a crime to give this place 1 or 2 stars seeing the big smile on my son’s face.If you’re looking for a good meal in a private and calm setting, do not come here. Have a rowdy bunch of kids who enjoy bbq, chicken or steak (but don’t know quite yet what a really good steak should taste like), then come here. I could think of plenty of other places to bring them to regardless, but this’ll do…for now.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly place, kid friendly menu

Yori!

The food was amazing, as my first time ever going. I got a Sirloin 6 oz and two sides. Though a family member didn’t like the seafood she had. Too salty but everything else lived up to its name. I would definitely go !

On google it says this location is open until 10 pm. We arrived at 9 pm, The hostess told us it was a wait for a table and that they close in 30 minutes but we could sit at the bar if we wanted. We head to the bar and get ready to sit down only to have the bartender tell us that she’s closed. She closed early because she didn’t have any help and that we could ask the hostess for a table. Mind you the bar was full of patrons. We get back to hostess stand and she asked if we want a table after just telling us she didn’t have a table. There was clearly no communication amongst the staff. We left and Will not return to this location

The food is your typical Texas Roadhouse food. The food was good. My plate came out extremely messy.Although I am disappointed with how the server/bartender treated us. Our bill was $40 and I tipped the usual 15%, but when I was getting up to leave the bartender with the black hair looked at us and said “wowww” very sarcastically. I do not understand why it was a problem to tip the normal 15%. No one is obligated to tip and I was being nice by even tipping anything because I was not impressed with the service at all. The bartender made it seem like we were supposed to leave more than 15 percent?I do like Texas Roadhouse, but this one could be better.

We came here for one of our childrens birthdays and I guess they were not prepared for a full house b/c they were out of a lot of things on the menu. A lot of the food we ordered was not bought out to us. Some of the food was overly done, dry, and not fresh. The waitress was nowhere to be found half the time but the manager did give us a discount on somethings due to the inconvenience...Maybe it was just a bad day, I'm not sure but definitely needs some improvement.

As someone who has been to several Texas Roadhouse locations across various cities and states, I had high expectations going into the Greensboro location. However, I should have known by the mostly empty parking lot and completely empty dining room at 5:00 on a Friday night that I would be very disappointed. Our server was not terrible. He was obviously new, but was clearly trying to do the right things. We were sat at a table beside a half wall behind the host stand. It was a little frustrating seeing about 6 presumably servers or hosts standing there throughout our entire visit, and even worse was hearing all of their conversations. I heard things about girlfriends and managers and coworkers and even the hosts sex life that I never wanted to know and absolutely never expected to hear people talking so openly about, especially in front of customers. As for the food….we had to wait 11 minutes for our first set of rolls. We were told that they currently did not have any ready and would get some as soon as they were. When they did come out, they looked like they had been beat in the parking lot and cooked for all of about 2 minutes. They were hot and soft on the outside, but cool and hard on the inside. The steak i ordered was supposed to be medium rare, but came out blue rare at best. There was no sear, the outside was no darker than a light gray, and the inside was almost purple in color. The fries were also cold and soggy. My wife said she liked the chicken tenders she ordered, despite the fact we were told the store was out of honey mustard and ranch. This was easily our worst experience at any Texas Roadhouse location, and we are happy we will never have to come back. Do yourselves a favor and go to another location, or eat somewhere else.

My visit to Texas Roadhouse was horrible. When I got there for my to go order that was made on line the girls working the window never look at the window to see if anybody was there. They call to tell me that they left an item out ,so I had to turn around an go back to get it,and they still not watching the window. And when we got home the food was cold and the steak was not cook the way it was order.i will not be going back there.

Husband's steak was dry, as was my chicken. The house salads were a bit skimpy. The music was way too loud you had to yell to hold a conversation. Are all Texas Roadhouse's so loud??? I dont remember this one being that loud.
