The Local @ GSO

It’s the only option in this terminal so it is what it is. Food was mediocre, fryer was broke so not all options were available, service was sub-par, the place was dirty, soup came out cold and the sever was annoyed that we asked for it to be heated up. He said they don’t have a microwave but we could have a new bowl and the new bowl came out slightly above lukewarm. Eat before you come to the airport.

I was fortunate to have Courtney as the waitress one early Monday morning. She is friendly and professional. Highly recommend The Local as it’s the best restaurant at Greensboro airport by far. Hopefully you meet Courtney too. She will brighten your day.

Food ok. But this place is FILTHY! Chairs dirty. Tables sticky, floor black!! A serious cleaning is needed and should be done. Plenty of people sitting in small office on side but poor service !! Really no excuse —and no alternative if you need a meal before flying.

The place was pretty slow when I arrived. Service was close to non-existent. Had to order online. Waitress finally came over 10 minutes after ordering to see if I wanted something to drink. I mentioned I had ordered online. Instead of l looking it up to see where they were on my order, she asked me what my drink was. About 5 or 6 minutes later, she was able to bring my drink (a Coke). Food came out about 10 minutes later...not exaggerating. Food was ok but it was missing an item. Couldn't tell anyone because no one was on the floor. Couldn't get a refill. It was bad! I'm typically a really good tipper! I've been a waitress and know what patrons expect. After seeing my bill and being extremely disappointed.... no tip was given

Was informed we had a 3 hour flight delay and the only restaurant in this airport informed me that their kitchen was just closed at 630 pm. Thanks a lot to the staff if this fine restaurant for serving up absolutely nothing while sitting in this terminal with nothing to eat for dinner, guess I'll get a snickers bar.

Shrimp dinner very overcooked. No shrimp sauce. Service was slow and bad. He needs to realize we are customers. Won't try this again.

Awful! Walked up at 8:48 p.m., and they denied service because "they had already done last call". Our flight was delayed and they could not have cared less. They closed and didn't even think about reconsidering, even though there were multiple people trying to get served.

The experience was the worse airport Resturant that I have had in my travels. I came on they told me to sit anywhere . But never came to give me a menu . I got up to get my own menu still no one came . Than 2 other ppl came in and got seated .Got their menus drink orders took .

Still no one to me came over to me .

Third couple came in got greeted and menus than a waitress asked me if I was ok .

I’m was like yes but waiting to get waited on can I order a drink please .

This waitress was rude, short and just unprofessional in the way she talked . She huffed and puffed and walked away at this point I just got up and walked out .

I’m wondering if because I’m a single lady traveling I’m being treated different . The others that they waited on so quick that came in after me were men .:(

Also I’m traveling for work and so just wanting to leave great tips because etc . But im shocked that there is no southern niceness down in North Carolina airport .

No other restaurants in this terminal so I’m
Stick not eating and being 2 hrs early due to hotel checkout time, small size of airport and quick clearance at TSA .

T'Kera and the rest of the team were really friendly and so fast. The salmon caesar was seriously good and the pinot grigio was really good too, thanks y'all!

The drinks were fine, pricey and not great but the kicker is that my card information was stolen here. I’m not sure what happened… but my card showed fraudulent activity just a few minutes after I paid my bill here.
