Greatly exceeded expectations! Has absolutely lived up to the hype! A sausage dog prepared and has the taste of the caliber of items you see on Carnival Eats. Get the toppings -- this isn't the time to eat a skimpy dog! Order one all the way!!!

Excellent customer service! Our Bartender, Curtis, was very knowledgeable and made a terrific cocktail. The food was very good and the atmosphere was laid back. When went on a Sunday afternoon and will definitely be returning.

Last night 02/19/20 was my 1st time going to the W for open mic night & I really enjoyed myself. The music & vibe was really on point. I enjoyed the drama free atmosphere & the drinks were good but no drink specials. I didn't order any food but my friends did & they didn't complain. I would recommend this place to others when visiting downtown Greensboro, NC. Years ago I attended a wedding there & it was a beautiful wedding that occurred during the spring time. Beautiful scenery for a photo shoot.

Poor service, slow. It youwas seat yourself, but the wait staff didn't even acknowledged us for a good 10 minutes. We ordered drinks and appetizer and meals. The waitress didn't write down our orders, my meal came out with the wrong sides entirely and my husband's came out missing a side. I sent my plate back for the correct sides and it came back with only one side, not two, the salmon was over cooked and dry. The appetizer came at the same time as the meal. We finished our meals and my husband's second side and my second side never came, so we asked for the check and asked the waitress to please box our missing sides to go.

ordered two steaks at 5:30pm. was told at 6:00pm they had no steaks. taco's and chicken that were ordered arrived at 6:25pm, were very bland, no taste. ordered a cheesecake for dessert and was told then didn't have any. a complete waste of time and money.
I ordered the Texas sandwich. And it was supposed to come with three chicken tenders 2 onion rings and barbecue sauce. And it came with a side of sweet potato fries. I also ordered a Twist mist. I never got my drink and I got a baked chicken patty instead of 3 tenders. You guys are usually on point but today you dropped the ball and you dropped it hard. Shame on you. Your job is to ensure that the delivery driver collects all the items and that the items are accurate and sealed properly. I'm so disappointed.

The server was pleasant and the burger special was attractively priced. However, the place was out of four different things we ordered early on a Friday night. My wings were terrible. There were 4 flats, which were o.k., but the drums were all bone and cartilage and bone. Three were inedible. The side salad was one part iceberg, one part shredded cheese, and what tasted like two parts diced onions. The drink selection included domestics, more domestics priced as craft, and overpriced cocktails. Won't be repeating.

Our server was very nice, but the service was terrible. Asked for a particular drink and was told they only had one left. She never brought it but came for our food order before bringing any drinks. We asked about the whiskey chips and she said they were homemade. Two of us ordered them. She came back a little while later and said they were out of whiskey chips (??!!). Still no drinks. We asked for fries instead. Got our drinks. Waited pretty long for food, despite the place not being very crowded. Our apps and food came out at the same time. The menu said the black bean burger came with grilled onions. There was literally three tiny, tiny thin strands of onion. No sauce on it, nothing offered. We had the pickle chips, cheese sticks, wings and a hamburger as well. All were pretty standard, greasy, brown food. Looking around, everyone had brown food. We noticed the few other people around us had some issues with their orders as well. I might suggest this is a good place for apps and drinks, but the service is just too slow.

This place has a cool vibe and plays great music, but EAT BEFORE YOU COME. We ordered a burger and nachos, which shouldn’t be hard to mess up. They brought us a medium rare burger twice, when my fiancée specifically asked for her burger to be well done. Then my loaded nachos were cold and nasty, the chicken was not seasoned, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. The manager was very nice and professional; and refunded our money. I might be back, but only for drinks and music.

So the W Bistro is a regular venue I frequent. Honestly, it is just a cool bar. Usually on Wednesday nights they have live performances. I personally recommend this venue to anyone who likes a great atmosphere and good drinks.... And they also serve good up until 11:30 I think.
