It’s not a sushi place!
I ordered tuna roll. I wonder how it’s possible to ruin such a simple type of food. Not even sure if they use real tuna… hoping not to get sick after.
People at the store were nice.

I am torn between giving this place 4 or 5 stars. The gentleman helping us was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good although my two teenagers were lukewarm having expected a more Americanized meal. I enjoyed the chicken more than the pork, they each have a different sweet sauce, but I liked the udon beef the best. The novelty items set up like a convenient store were a neat addition that seemed to add a sense authenticity by feeling immersed in Japanese items for sale. I would definitely go back and recommend this place. As with any ethnic restaurant, go with an open mind and please don’t base your opinion on preconceived notions. If you have not lived in a country, then on what are you basing your opinions? Go and have fun!

It's a little pricey 3.25 for a bagel that not much bigger than what you can get at a store

Great choice of food. Prices can be a bit high, but what place doesn’t have high prices these days. Friendly staff, very nice aesthetic and atmosphere.

Solid place. They run a tight shop and make good sushi, it just feels kind of cramped inside is all.

The gyudon is flavorful and a good portion size. The milk tea is nice but the pearls were hard and undercooked. Very cozy interior.

Got 4 different kinds of rolls for takeout and I have to say I’m so disappointed. All the sushi had very little amount of filling and so much rice but the worst was probably the California roll that had about 8 strings of crab. Definitely won’t be coming here again.

what a neat place! super friendly staff, super cool little shop with such an interesting and refreshing food menu, japanese savory foods and breakfast items!

i had the miso ramen which was wonderful, the karaage chicken nuggets were nice and juicy, it paired really well with the broth.

Very small place with sandwiches and a limited selection of sushi. There are some unusual Asian snacks available for purchase, as well. I got a rainbow roll, and iced tea. The roll was good, and the tea was excellent.

What I love about toshi's - beyond being a third shift worker addicted to sushi and having a place to get it in the morning hahahaa - is they're always expanding the menu to new awesome things I really want.
Ramen, kara-age, onigiri! And now, boba milk tea!! There's only one flavor at this time but it's incredible. May be too sweet for some so ask for less - but it's better than kung fu tea!
