The food, service and ambiance were amazing. The hostess/owner was simply delightful. I will be going back. The service was impeccable.
We had the best charcuterie board, tuna tar-tar and the brussel sprout salad to die for! Our server was beyond awesome!! We could not have asked for better service and a wonderful to spirit to wait on us! What a great meal and time!
There really isn't a big variety on the menu. What we did have was tasty, however the choices are very limited
Always amazing service (both at greeting and seating), consistently great food options and friendly environment. Our favorite celebration spot.
I chose the restaurant because of the menu. I was disappointed to find it had changed slightly once we arrived from what was listed online. The tuna tare-tare was excellent. The beef appetizer was tasteless and well over priced for the portion which would not have been more that 1/8C. Our filet mignon burgers were rich and perfectly cooked, but beside Bbq sauce and mayo they had a smattering of shaved lettuce and tater tots with catsup. I don't eat at Red Lobster and Long John Silvers for many reason, but serving tater tots is one!!
Probably the best meal I've ever had in Greensboro (and I've lived here 48 years)! The brussel sprout salad came with a delightful vinaigrette, followed by an entree of perfectly cooked scallops accompanied by risotto with toasted sunflower seeds and vegetables and two kinds of mushrooms and a perfectly cooked poached egg. The salad and entree were generous portions. The pot de crème was a dish of creamy decadence with chocolate, butterscotch and a lovely piece of toffee. The cocktails aren't to be missed either. The server was attentive without being overbearing. I could go on and on!
Menu is limited for anyone with dietary restrictions. The food was excellent. One of the bathrooms had issues but was unable to get to the manager to explain.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service from Chris was outstanding. Thank you for making our night special, White and Wood!
This continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Greensboro. The food is fantastic and the staff knowledgeable, attentive and friendly.
There are always gluten free options, and the food and excellent service never disappoint. Always a pleasure!

One of my favorite meals in the last year.,service was very good . Oysters and there proprietary sauce were fantastic. Wine and bourbon list very nice . Eclectic charcuterie selection . Delicious .
Our first visit, and it was excellent! We started with the chef charcuterie plate, which was an excellent assessment of house made meats and cheeses. We chose 3-course meals. We each had the Caesar salad, I had salmon and my partner had the meatballs. Every dish was a perfect blend of unique ingredients, prepared and presented perfectly, and very flavorful. We will be back!
My wife and I went here for a night out, and all I can say is that we will be back. Great service, outstanding food, and vibrant setting in the heart of downtown. The three course meal is well worth the cost, with many options, and they have an extensive beer and wine selection. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality evening on the town.
First time here and absolutely loved it! The Charcuterie Chef's 5 Selection was the highlight~beautifully presented and expertly curated, we were already impressed before the main course even arrived. Everything was delicious and paired perfectly with a glass of Pinot Gris. The staff and our server were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend*can't wait to come back!
Nice location. We enjoyed a stellar beet salad. The Tomahawk steak was not on the menu but was available the night we were there. I regretted ordering it as the meat was the poorest tasting Tomahawk I have had. It was also a bit on the tough side. The sides were good. The pot de creme was excellent. Our meal started fantastic and ended on a high note however the in between will make us try a different restaraunt in the future.
