Probably one of the best bars downtown, me and my friends come here atleast twice a month, there’s always good music, great bartenders, and a feel good atmosphere!

I have not even lived in Greenville for months and this bar charged my card for a service date on 8/7 when I live 4 hours away.

i am absolutely appalled by what just happened. my friend, who turned 19 last month, was denied entry for being an “04 baby.” if the management had just looked at their ID they would’ve seen her age was clearly over the limit, by a whole year and a month.

i have been going to fifth street for over two years now and i have never been more disappointed in my life. my friend decided to go out for the first time since being at ecu AS A SOPHOMORE and the manager (jen) said that she could not come in. she is over 19 years old and she was denied entry because she “seemed like she was in highschool” jen said that that my friend was acting childish because she asked if she could show her graduation picture (that has be perfectly fine before) if i could give zero stars i would i have never been more angry and disappointed in my life

No words to describe Jen. Just read all the reviews below & that should tell you enough. She screamed in my face for having a drink outside BUT it was in between the two parts of the club behind the entrance. She is a disgusting human being & needs her disgusting bar taken down, same with their liquor license seeing as everyone who drinks there is underage. She has the nastiest attitude on planet earth. It is a real shame she runs that place. It could be super fun if management was better. Too bad its not! I personally have heard SEVERAL stories about racially profiling customers & racially motivated words towards people of color. It is horrible, no one going out on the weekends to have a little fun should have to deal with such a lady like Jen. Theres only two words for you if you go there. GOOD LUCK

While being a designated driver for my friends all over 21; We went to the restroom where we were waiting in line and the Manager of the bar, a lady referred to as Margaret (by word of mouth) rudely spoke to all member of our party when we tried to assist her out of the tight space restroom. Mind you she asked “How the hell can I get out of here” and I responded. Additionally, my friend was shoved by a man twice her size that was a bouncer while simply trying to walk through the establishment. Disgusting. Definitely will not be recommending this place to my New ECU students!

Got kicked out because I was “chugging drinks in the bathroom underage” but i was just changing my tampon.

They rudely kicked my friend out for saying he was underage drinking yet it was so many underage drinking yt girls everywhere.They pick and chose who to let slide with stuff and if your a POC you aren’t getting chose.

I’m a longtime fifth goer and have always had a wonderful time. Tonight I was profiled for something I didn’t do and they were unable to give me a reasonable explanation. If you needed to get people to leave to get more people in you can just ask. However instead I’ve been accused of “grabbing an employees [butt]” when I was in a small group with my friends the entire time. I tried being respectful and apologized for any accidental brush ups but I know for a fact that is not something I would do especially when im in the least crowded area possible to avoid incidents like this. All I wanted was to celebrate my friends birthday and I end up leaving disappointed and embarrassed. I will probably not return for a while and am very dissapointed.

racially profiles customers and serves alcohol to minors, dangerous environment for those under 21, lgbt, and people of color. Bouncers racially profile and make up situations to throw people of color out. Stay away at all costs!!! There are much better and safer bars in Greenville.

Racially profiled my friend and blamed him for something he didn’t do and kicked him out

My friend and I have been to Fifth two weeks in a row, both time it was the same guy at the door who let us in but this past Saturday when we went there was a different guy at the door who didn’t let us in because of her open toed shoes and we watched him let in another girl with open toed shoes shortly after. The place is not even good enough to fuss about but definitely needs to reevaluate their policies.
