Different than most Mexican restaurants. Seemed more authentic, though since I've never been to Mexico I really don't know. Prices seemed lower, too, and the food was really good. Enjoyed looking at the posters they had on the wall...I remember one was about the different varieties of corn different cultural groups grow.
Authentic Mexican cuisine. It was our first time trying cactus! We like how they put fresh peppers out with the condiments. Not great ambience for atmosphere, but that's when u know the food must be really good, which it was! We really enjoyed everything both times we've gone.

The restaurant is not fancy, but the food is out of this world and is simply the best Mexican restaurant for miles around. Every dish that we had here was so flavorful, including the mixed alambra, the tacos, tamales, pollo,...You don't want to miss this!
