I went there for the first time last week to get a takeout sandwich. I ordered a turkey and bacon wrap. Asked if I wanted chips, pretzels, pasta salad or potato salad. I picked the pasta salad and a chocolate chip cookies. Also got a container of pimento cheese out of the fridge. Receipt was sent to my e-mail. When I got home and looked at the receipt there was an upcharge for something plus they added a $4.11 TIPS and never asked or told me they were adding a tip. I tip for a takeout order. That is not acceptable to automatically add a tip to someone's order.

We loved our lunch at The Bread Lady! Service was quick and helpful. We ordered sandwiches which were made on their delicious bread! They also had delicious desserts to go with our meal! We bought some of their delicious bread to take home with us! We will definitely come back again!

If I went alone, I'd give it 5 stars solid. But my wife prefers her chicken salad and potato salad a bit less sweet. But I thought both were delicious. So still 5 stars from me.The small scoop plate was fairly priced and a perfect light lunch. I had the chicken salad with crackers and a pickle, and a dessert (English toffee square).My wife had a chicken salad wrap with some fresh veggies, which she enjoyed with potato salad, which I finished. Dessert was very yummy . Buttery sweet and a bit salty. Perfect baked toffee squares, with almost a homemade caramel flavor. Really sweet and delicious, I just wish I asked for a corner piece.If I lived closer, I'd be a regular for desserts and would totally like to try some fresh baked breads available. I recommend this place.
