Dine-In: The food here is generally enjoyable; however, the restaurant struggles significantly with service quality and order accuracy. The space itself is already small, and once a few tables are occupied, servers become hard to find. Expect slow service and minimal attentiveness. For example, after a lengthy wait, our server delivered the food without checking if we needed anything else, immediately leaving before we could request ketchup or napkins. Additionally, our order was incorrect, and anticipating another extended wait, we decided just to accept what was provided.
Take-Out: Unfortunately, take-out orders share similar issues. Our recent order was incorrect—we specifically ordered beef empanadas but received chicken instead, which weren't enjoyable. This has happened multiple times. I wish they would pay closer attention when preparing orders.
The likelihood of us ordering here moving forward has definitely diminished.

The rice and beans are amazing! So is the garlic sauce. There was a seasons soft shell crap dish that was amazing.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. It’s not the fastest service since good takes time to prepare, so kids have to have some patience.

I want to first off by saying that the owner was very nice. Everyone treated you like family and wanted to make sure that you had a good time. The music was wonderful and so was the atmosphere. Although unfortunately whatever I ordered gave me awful food poisoning. Within 15 minutes I was throwing up in the bathroom. The food tasted good the first time, not the second.

Five stars! We were visiting from out of town and Villa Verde exceeded our expectations. The skirt steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor, and the snapper was fresh and beautifully seasoned. The service was fantastic, and the outdoor seating area was perfect for our group. We’ll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

This is one of my favorite places in Greenville. The food and service have been above average both times I've gone. Last night we sat outside and it was cool out, so the staff happily brought over a patio heater for us. Highly recommend!

Villa Verde is hands down my favorite spot in town! The food is absolutely phenomenal, with every dish bursting with flavor. The staff are incredibly attentive, making each visit a delightful experience, and the place is always spotless. I can't get enough of the Monfongo and Trifongo—so delicious that I often forget to snap a photo before diving in! If you're in Greenville, don't miss out on this gem. I highly recommend it to both locals and visitors looking for some of the best food the area has to offer.
