First time I went was great but on the next two visits the food lost quality. For the second visit the guy served me old/overcooked steak. I guess it was close to closing time but regardless I shouldn't of been served over cooked steak. On my third visit, I went at an earlier time and I told the guy and he didn't even apologize. I ordered the same dish but this time the cilantro wasn't washed well so it had some dirt on it. That cook is not so people friendly. I come from afar! I wash my hands!

Taking my review back from the first time. First time going food was amazing. People working here had attitudes figured it was just a bad day. Went again but this time spent wayyy too much money on food that was beyond disgusting and same attitudes as last time. Took my dad here to try since the food was good last time and I am embarrassed. Paella seafood for 4 I didn’t eat but a bite. Horrible. Seafood in it was old horrible smell… Also..they will watch you as you go to your car. I took my toddler outside as he was starting to get loud and wanted to get outside and they decided it was appropriate to watch me the whole time even tho everyone else I was with was stayed inside the restaurant….Will never come back…

The food and service were great, and I had so much food that I had to bring the rest of it home.
Came here for a date night since we heard good things about it and we both wanted to try something different. For the appetizer we got a chicken/beef empanada. Yaroa and the grouper bites are a good side as well. The yaroa has plenty to share. I enjoyed them because they were fried to perfection. The drinks were a special holiday drink (delicious). For food we got the chicken mofongo and the shrimp asopao. We both enjoyed our meal. The shrimp was fresh and the asopao had a good flavor. We definitely will be coming back and have been recommending for others to give it a try.

Price is very reasonable. Flavor and portion is 100%, but steak and some seafood is tough to chew. Seafood meat probably been frozen a long time that's why.Flank steak can be tenderized with marinate, they should know that.

Everyone is always friendly here. I went in today for my birthday because I saw pictures of new menu items on Facebook and they looked delicious! The Plato Del Rey was absolutely delicious! It is also HUGE and well worth the price. It could cost alot more and be worth every penny. My husband had the Masa de Cerdo Frita dinner and he loved it. I love coming here because in addition to the consistent favorites always being on the menu they also always have new amazing dishes to try every time we come.
