My husband and I ate here tonight 5/3/25. The sushi was awesome, I especially loved the Greenville roll. Unfortunately our server was the worst I've ever experienced. I've never had a server drop off the food and never come back, not even once until we asked someone to go get her, but that's what happened tonight. They weren't even busy, there were only maybe 6-8 tables seated with multiple servers. We ended up talking to the guy in charge of the to-go orders...
I visit wasabi88 often and I’ve never had a bad experience.
I came in this past Wednesday and WOW. I can’t even begin to explain how impressed I was. Our server let us know from the beginning that they were short staffed and he was the only server there. At this time they were not very busy but the people were coming in steady.
I was worried that we’d have long wait times on food and drink refills but to my surprise, the food was just as good as it always is, drinks stayed...

A while back they held an employee sushi contest and even though the contest is not still active they still will make the rolls from the contest! The Chica Loca and Little Lake rolls are the BEST!
All the food is wonderful...
