“The Hackney is my husband’s and my favorite restaurant. The food is prepared in an artistic way and of course, delicious! The special events where they bring the fishermen in to talk about their catch is a wonderful experience. We’ve been going there 4 years and are always pleased with our meal. They also have fantastic cocktails!!“

“I only go from 11-2:30 or 4-7. I LOVE the food especially the fried chicken wings. The salad bar is not big but does have the essentials that are ALWAYS fresh. Everybody that works there are super nice. Everything looks clean. My favorites are the fried chicken wings, egg-drop soup, salads, roast pork, and gun-fire chicken! They have a cold bar too that has fruit and desserts. There are always 3-4 kinds of soup. I've tried everything though and NEVER been disappointed. Not very expensive and worth the drive to Chocowinity.“
