“The map may be geographically confused (on their menu), but the egg rolls know exactly where they’re going.
Somewhere between “Drug Store Lion” and “Richmond Technical Collage,” I realized this review needed to happen. 😭
We chose King Gourmet for our bed picnic tonight, and honestly, it’s become one of those comfort places for us over the years.
I also love that they instantly text your receipt — because when a random number suddenly pops up on your car dashboard, it’s probably best to warn your spouse it’s just the Chinese restaurant. 😆
Ray swears by their chicken rice soup: the perfect mix of Chinese comfort food with just enough American grease to guarantee you’ll crave it again.
Meanwhile, I’m over here in a long-term relationship with their egg rolls, while the crab rangoon continues competing for second place.
We’ve been coming here since their now-grown sons were still in elementary school, and through all those years, one thing has stayed the same: the food is consistently on point.
Small-town spots don’t survive this long by accident.“

“There food was amazing! The service was so nice they were so kind and it's pretty cheap. The restaurant was very clean and you can dine in or take out. I really recommend trying to order the combination platters it comes with 1 egg roll with rice of your choice, and not only it's delicious it's pretty cheap!“
