I was pretty sick last week and we ordered to go a bunch. In a time where it costs a fortune to eat or order out, I have to give a shoutout to Simply Southern in Point Harbor. For the 3 of us, we ordered a whole fried chicken (8 piece), mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw and green beans for just over $40, and we even had leftovers. This food is good for the SOUL! Seriously, my husband and I have been here a few times and it’s been amazing. It’s been a long time since I’ve had food this good at a restaurant. The service is wonderful too. Our drinks were always full and the server did a wonderful job of pacing.
