Delayed ferry finally gave us an opportunity to sit down and spend a little time here at this spot that's a big part of our OBX trips. Normally we're racing in and out with the 'fortified wines' version of their drinks we can ship in the car while waiting in line. Today we're able to sit at the bar and enjoy Painkillers and chips. Staff is fantastic, service is great, and the drinks are almost enough to make up missing Ocracoke today
They had a crunchwarp that would make any Mexican restaurant jealous. It's so damn good. Service was pretty cool and they had a nice atmosphere for the Halloween season. My infant was with me and they had plenty of space that it was no hassle. Prices weren't bad either. Only complain, I wish you get more tortilla chips on the side with the wrap. Nice outside area as well. I'll come back again the next time I'm waiting on the ferry
The Wreck is a great place to hang out while in Hatteras Village. Whether you are waiting for your house or ferry, they have good food, beer and service in a small but unique location. Enjoy!
