This used to be the best Chinese restaurant that we have gone to, like every time we were in a different town and tried a different Chinese restaurant…they were always compared to the king…Taste of China in Havelock, BUT our last 3 visits have been met with a decline in quality of food, like it really feels like the food is more bland.
This is a solid strip mall chinese restaurant. I got the Kung Bo combination plus hot and sour soup for take out. I don't love when kung pao has the same mixed vegetables that are in every dish, which this did. That said, the veggies were fresh and cooked well, and the sauce was flavorful with a good amount of heat. It was a little lacking in chicken. The hot and sour soup was great. The broth was tasty, spicy, and it was packed full of egg, veggies, tofu, and pork. Egg roll...
I don't understand why there's so many negative reviews for this location its better than the Chinese place on the other side of town.
If you dont want veggies in your meal request NO veggies. Or LESS veggies.
