Last weekend we decided to take a drive and visit rib country in Haysville, North Carolina. When we arrived and entered the establishment we were greeted by a lovely young lady. She was pleasant, attentive and very prompt with seating us quickly. Our waitress followed right behind the hostess and made us feel welcome as she answered our questions about the menu and the smoking process they use for their bbq entrees.First we ordered a half Onion loaf as our appetizer that was out of this world. Hot and amazingly not to greasy. I then ordered the pulled pork plate with a side salad, beans and a loaded baked potato. My friend ordered the baby back rib platter with French fries and cole slaw. When we finished our starter our main meals were served promptly. The food was hot, accurate and delicious. Our meats were tender and moist and our sides were hot and amazing. I wish some of the other Rib Country restaurants had a manager that knows how to treat their team with good cross training and respect as the quality and service is shown in haysville. Congratulations Haysville team we will be back. Thank you.

Delicious food! Had the fried green tomatoes, pulled pork and cole slaw and it was out promptly and the portions were generous. Our server was excellent and even gave us free chocolate chip cookies to take home! We loved everything and will definitely be back.

Our family ate here twice while traveling. We had the ribs, brisket, turkey plate and the turkey sandwich. Best things we tasted were the collard greens and the fried onions.

We arrived at 7pm and ordered our food within minutes of being seated. We waited at least 45 minutes for our food. Our server Elijah was friendly and attentive, he apologized to us several times for the delay in getting our food. There wasn't very many customers, maybe 5 tables so the kitchen could not have been overwhelmed with orders. I ordered a feast platter that had a small portion of all of their BBQ selections. When my food arrived all of the meats were cold and the other people in my party said the same. The baby back ribs were tender and fall off the bone with good flavor but not hot, the pulled pork was rather dry and bland and again not hot, the brisket had decent flavor but was tough and chewy, maybe would have been better if it had been served hot. The leg quarter chicken was also cold and bloody in the middle so I didn't eat much of that. The coleslaw was spot on, nice crisp veggies and tangy sauce. The beans were the hottest thing on the plate with great flavor but the beans were a bit undercooked. Overhearing the table next to us voicing the same complaints to their server and not getting a resolution we decided that we would just pay the bill and go.

We are at Rib Country for supper and it was great! I always determine how good a BBQ joint is by their brisket, and Rib Country nailed it. The brisket dinner (sliced and wet) was delicious. Will definitely be back.

I like eating here. The servers do a very good job. The ribs are very good but a bit small- if you're used to super chewy meaty ribs this is not your place. The meat falls right off the bone, as it should.

3 stars because my fries were inedible because they were hard and stale. Server was friendly and when the chicken was forgotten on the plate, she had a new one cooked and took 10%off the bill. That was thoughtful. Hubby said his food was barely warm. The beans were good and my turkey was generous and good. We had to wait 12 mins to get seated when they weren't busy at all, so not sure why.
