Best soulfood spot hands down. We took a detour from our normal route to try this place out after looking at the menu. They did not disappoint! I got to tell my Alabama folks about this place. Absolutely loved it.
Robert and I drove from Newport News Virginia 177 miles to taste the delicious food and visit and dine with the Taste of Soul family ...we were more than pleased ...the owner treated us like royalty... knowing that we have traveled such a distance, she bent over backwards to make certain that we were more than satisfied... this is a must-see must visit must eat establishment you will not be disappointed
The food is delicious. One of the best soul food restaurants as far as the food. you won't be disappointed and the food is worth more than $10. Honestly it should be more like $25 so you can't beat it. Everything seasoned to perfection
