“As someone who grew up in/around New Orleans I can tell you that this is the place to eat. The various dishes are not spicy but flavorful. A taste of home. Excellent service from the owners and their daughter who happens to be employee of the month…possibly every month. She is an absolute gem. Each member of this beautiful family has an amazing story to tell…as do all of us who grew up in or around New Orleans. I can’t lie…. I Wanted to raise my shirt, hoping for those special Mardi Gras beads before walking out of this SPECTACULAR restaurant and a walk down memory lane as to how amazing food can really taste. My taste buds salute you! Thank you for your hospitality, generosity, lengthy conversations and the ability to smell those old oak trees dressed in Spanish moss in the bayou. We’ll be back very soon!
