I was hoping for a better Schnitzel (It was even the royale version), but it wasn’t what I had hoped for. Maybe I will give them a second chance, because the German beers were amazing.

Popped in w/o reservation on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated right away. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient. Though just opened from the devastation of Helene, the food was fresh and hot to the table with a very short wait. We both had samplers. one sausage and the other a schnitzel variety. The entree and sides were delicious. We lived in Germany for seven years and the food was spectacularly authentic, even down to the broetchen in the bread basket, crunchy on the outside and softly chewy inside. If you like real-deal German food, make a reservation today. Sehr gute geschmeckt!

This place has great food. They were running short staffed after Helene, but made it happen. No one there slowed down while we were there. We’ll be back.

They are open and serving the same delicious food we've been enjoying for years. The trip from Charlotte was easy. The roads were open and flowing normally. The hurricane caused so much damage but lots of progress has been made. Please come visit Haus Heidelberg and the community of Hendersonville. They need our support.

Our family went for lunch Oct 19, 2024 after Hurricane Helene. The restaurant despite having huge flood waters inside the restaurant just a few weeks prior our visit was spotless and the staff were very accommodating to our family. They went above and beyond to save their restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: We took 4 small children and the waitress spent time with each one helping to make their selections.

Excellent service and the food is excellent.
The staff went out of the way to assure that my wife had an excellent birthday lunch. They also delivered to us my wife’s favorite German cake for her birthday! This is an outstanding restaurant!!!! We highly recommend this establishment for lunch and dinner.

This is the best authentic German cuisine i have ever had.
Everything was perfect, the beer was perfect, the schnitzel was perfect, the salad..omg the salad was awesome, the ..the ..the everything..it was all done awesomely
And all this on 1st fay open after a hurricane an having 6foot of water.
