Haus Heidelberg German Restaurant

This restaurant took me back to Berlin and Augsburg from my old Army days! We ordered the pork schnitzel with German potato salad and rot kraut as well as a German salad. The meal was delicious!! The portion sizes were awesome and we took food home for a second meal. Our waitress was Morgan and she was friendly and very attentive! She is a real star in this friendly place. My only disappointment was my apple strudel. I like mine pretty simple with apples and phyllo dough. Today it was full of raisins and walnuts as well as the apples and dough plus creamy vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. This is a great place to eat a genuine German meal and feel the ambience of this faraway place!

We’ve been doing takeaway since eating at restaurants is difficult right now after some surgery, And we do this once or twice a month with Haus Heidelberg. They are a bToday I lived on the wild side and ordered their Meatlovers Spaetzel mit cheese. Oh my word there are no words to say how much I truly loved this. Beyond delicious to my palate. The schnitzels are always wonderful. The salad always, always especially good but this special spaetzel dish blew me away.

This is awesome little German joint. The joint was clean and great service. Our waitress was new, she was on spot and not bad looking. The food was delicious!

Really nice authentic German food. We had Sauerbraten with delicious Red Cabbage and potato dumplings. Generous portions, hope to be back soon.

Excellent selection of German dishes prepared deliciously. We have been several times and always try something different.

This was just an unexpected stop when staying overnight in Hendersonville. We always love to try German restaurants, with the fond memories we have of the food in Germany. This was a good time and had all of the familiar foods. Some were good and some were not. The potato pancakes were not the crispy type but were fat cakes of potato, served with sour cream and applesauce. The sausages and kraut were good, but the German potato salad was not to our liking. The borscht was thick and tasty, served hot. But I've had better. But overall, the place was casual and the service perfect. No complaints. Just don't look for the kind of food you tasted in Germany, but I can recommend a stop for some hearty food.

Wow! So good. I was in Germany recently and the food here was very authentic. Can’t wait to return. Food, beer, service, and atmosphere were spot on!

Another great meal. We live outside of Brevard and don’t get to Hendersonville often. We are from Florida that has several quality German restaurants and we have been to Germany several times. This food is authentic and well prepared. We over ate again yesterday and enjoyed everything. We ordered the sample plater for two and took home enough for dinner later. Rachel was an excellent server, helpful and on the spot. We recommend and will return.

It was a cold nite and my partner and I wanted to try something different. I got a bratwurst with sides of spatzel and saurcrat and it was delicious. Slightly disappointed with the spatzel due to the shape of it. More like spaghetti rather than the shape I was used to at other german restaurants. My partner had the schnitzel and loved it. Great yeast rolls also.

I was hoping for a better Schnitzel (It was even the royale version), but it wasn’t what I had hoped for. Maybe I will give them a second chance, because the German beers were amazing.

Popped in w/o reservation on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated right away. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient. Though just opened from the devastation of Helene, the food was fresh and hot to the table with a very short wait. We both had samplers. one sausage and the other a schnitzel variety. The entree and sides were delicious. We lived in Germany for seven years and the food was spectacularly authentic, even down to the broetchen in the bread basket, crunchy on the outside and softly chewy inside. If you like real-deal German food, make a reservation today. Sehr gute geschmeckt!
