The Dugout Sports Bar and Taphouse

Beware: Now that I have your curiosity I'd like to brag on the service we received. Mr. Giffin the owner and one of the servers "Gabby" renewed our faith in humanity. We ate there after apple picking with my mother-in-law. The food was good and yes we would eat there again. Nice area and tvs to watch some college football. I paid with a card, used restroom and wife paid with cash to save on debit fees. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️😢. WE PAID TWICE. It would have been easy for Gabby to consider it 100% TIP or just been dishonest. I was so impressed and very thankful for them refunding us the money. We will for sure eat there again just due to the service we received and the honesty they represent. Thank you again.

Staff member chased us down on street and accused us of not paying tab. Showed our ID and she didn’t even apologize. Wish I didn’t leave the tip that I did.

The food was meh! I had the fish and chips and my wife had their mac and cheese with BBQ on top. The fish and chips had so much grease I'm sure they had to replace oil in the fryer. I put napkins under the fish to absorb the oil as it came out. My wife's food was non better. The noodles were way undercooked and barely edible. Brought these items to the attention of the owner and we were given a 10% discount but still...... Won't be going back and we do not recommend the place.

We went here before the halloween festival, sat outside. The food was amazing. I ordered wings, which i normally never do because i can make them. Their wings were great, and they made their own Blue Cheese, so i was loving it.

My girlfriend got a philly cheese steak with sweet potato fries, and the waitress recommended the fries with a bbq sauce side. It was delicious. Also, there are a ton of beers. I WILL go back!

My boyfriend and I came here after not have power for over a week due to Helene. The owner was kind enough to put on the West Virginia football game even though we were the only two people in there who cared about that game. It definitely made us feel more normal after this crazy week. We will be back!!

- Great sports bar, fun atmosphere! Casual bar with great food and decent drinks. Micheal is a great manager with a genuine love for the bar. Enjoyed our time there for a late night football game!
