We tried Cairo for lunch todayIt was delicious! The hummus was to die for. Service was excellent and everything was fresh and hot and the restaurant was clean. They brought us more pita to finish the hummus. We will be back!

I can't say enough good things about Abraham and this restaurant. Although they don't "cater", I was able to work with Abraham to prepare the food for my daughter's college graduation. We had a wonderful experience menu planning for 40.He advised me of the correct number of items to order so as to not over buy. We had 2 types of kabob, schwarma, rice, dolma, spanakopita, pita and all the sauces. Everything was made to perfection and ready on time and our guests LOVED the meal. Those local to Hickory can't wait to go back and eat there. My daughter is a recent Culinary graduate and wanted a Mediterranean themed party. We sampled the food here and were immediately impressed. The food passed her strict taste test and was a big hit even for those unfamiliar with this type of cuisine. Pricing was MORE than fair and portions were more than enough...we fed 40 and had a little left over...but it was so, so good, I wish there was more!Thanks again for a wonderful experience. We will be sure to stop by for a meal again in the future.

Very good food! I have various food allergies and they were very accommodating. Restaurant is clean and food is fresh and homemade. Only a 4 because chicken lacked seasoning/salt & a bit dry. Lamb was excellent and even loved by my husband who is not a fan of. Stopped in two days ago to check out this Greek/Egyptian restaurant- Definitely a hidden gem for Hickory!! Everything was absolutely delicious!! The salad was fresh, the hummus was delicious, the rice was delicious, the chicken skewer was delicious. The lamb was delicious !!!On Friday they make spinach pie, and it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted!!! This restaurant is a must try!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!! Will definitely be back!! Hickory has needed a good Greek/Egyptian restaurant and it’s here guys ??? delicious ? yummy ?
I honestly don't know what to say. We stopped for a quick bite, but it actually took longer than expected. Be careful because you can easily spend a lot here. I find that rather strange. This is like a fast food place but they charge restaurant prices. For that kind of spending, there should be full service. Idk, let me know what you think.

If it wasn't for their Moussaka, I would've given this place a 5 star review. Way too salty to a point I almost wanted to throw the rest out. I ended up mixing the french fried that came with it in and it lessened the salt bite.
