I did NOT expect to find gluten free donuts in a small area. I didn't believe it could be true until I saw it with my own eyes.Coming in the small shop, we were greeted by the friendly owner who explained that he understood Celiac disease and went over the precautions they take.All 4 donuts that we tried were delicious. I saw some reviews about them not being homemade, but from a cost perspective it makes sense and if you are going to have store bought donuts, these are the ones you want anyway!SO many toppings were available and the owner was patient to go over which ones would be dairy free as well.My 7 year old was THRILLED to have "real" donuts!I am very grateful that we came across this place and would stop back if we are in the area.

Awesome place for fresh donuts!! First pic is the gluten free option (frozen then steamed) with apple pie and maple bacon toppings. Best way to get gluten-free donuts in Hickory! The second pic is a platter of 150 mini donuts with 4 dipping sauces. A huge hit at our birthday bash!

Totally random find, but wow! So glad we did! Absolutely amazing melt in your mouth made to order donuts. Several gluten free options as well. Owner, Jake, was super nice. Two words... TRY IT! You won't be disappointed. Gem in Hickory☆

First time customer. Very fast and friendly customer service. The Donuts are made by the owner in front of you so you don't get them any hotter or fresher. I got the Heath Treat which is plain donuts drizzled with maple icing,caramel and topped with heath candy crumbles. Easy access to the store from the roadway and into the store. The Donuts were delicious and I will definitely be back.

This place is a hidden gem!The owner is so friendly and welcoming, and refreshingly accomodating!I'm gluten sensitive, so when I asked about his gluten free options he went over the entire process of all the GF items he offers, along with how they're prepared and served to minimize cross contamination.In the end, I chose the Cinnamon Bun and Turtle gluten free donuts, and my husband ordered the gluten free twinkie with blueberry icing, and the gluten free chocolate cupcake. Both the twinkie and chocolate cupcake were similar to a hostess cake.We were both very well pleased with our choices, and will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the flavor combinations!

I hate writing bad reviews about small businesses & especially if the owners are super friendly (which is why I gave it 2 stars not 1). But I was really expecting & hoping for fresh homemade donuts, not Katz frozen brand donuts hyped up. I feel like that's bit of false advertising because if we wanted frozen donuts we would have just went to the grocery store & grab them ourselves & saved several bucks. All their items that are GF are Katz. I mean the owner was really super friendly & said he started doing the business because his wife was celiac. But it was super disappointing to see it wasn't something someone made fresh, but was a grocery store bought frozen product.

Stopped by this gem after eating dinner near by. The guy working was very nice and welcoming. He made our donuts right in front of us! Awesome Experience and the donuts were amazing. So fresh, they melt in your mouth. Will be back for more!

Super cute spot ! They have so many flavors/ toppings to choose from. The owner is a real nice guy it's always nice small talk while you wait for your fresh donuts ! They also have a mini donut truck that they cater events with or set up in the surrounding areas , I tried this place when they first opened and haven't been to hickory for awhile so I went on Yelp and couldn't find them I thought they closed but did alil google search & I drove by an LUCKILY it's still there!!! I told the owner I'd make them a Yelp page for foodies like me can find em easier. You won't regret this spot 10/10 recommend ! Right next to sukura so it's perfect for dessert after dinner

I absolutely LOVE coming here when I venture into Hickory. The prices are fair compared the the quality and amount of sweet treat you get! There are so many different flavors and combos to choose from and the owner will let you mix and match which I love to do when I cannot choose! Definitely recommend eating at Dipperz if you are craving something sweet!
Stopped here by accident, and THANK GOODNESS we did!! These are the best donuts I have ever tasted, hands down. We live on the other side of Hickory, and I will have to make a weekly trip here. We had the pumpkin spice, the turtle, and the bacon Carmel donut! The owner was extremely nice, and I can't wait to place a holiday order!! I wish I could give them more Stars!!!
