I came in after a long day, and as a party of one, went to sit at the bar. The bartender, Josh, very kindly asked how I was doing - and I evaded because it had been a hard day. He asked another question and I burst into tears. He was so kind and empathetic and chatted with me while helping me get a hold of myself. I will never forget Josh being kind on such a tough day and for making me feel so welcome. Thank you!! (Also, the drinks and food were really top notch, delicious, and reasonably priced - definitely swing by!)

She kept filling my water, even with a new cup but it kept having dust or towel particles in it. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be drinking lint, towel particles or dust.
Anyway, I think that made her feel awkward the rest of the experience. Food was delicious and our waitress was a great waitress.

I came here with a work group of nine people. We were early enough that we had the place to ourselves. Regardless, a nine top is hard to manage. I ordered a Spanish Mule which was a Moscow Mule with tequila rather than vodka. It was perfectly balanced. We had a plethora of appetizers around the table to include escargot, spinach and artichoke dip, triple dip, and more. All were fabulous. I ordered the small portion of the Elk Chop, medium rare which came with a salad, sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Everything was perfect! I couldn't even finish the small. Then all our meals came with a dessert spoon - tres leches which was pretty acceptable this far north!

I’ve been coming to Hickory for several years. I eat out a lot. I have never been to Duke;s until Tuesday July 23. It was a great experience. Though I came alone, I had a great meal, chatted with the bartender and had the Elk Chops. They were great as were the fixings with them. I got the large order and brought home enough for another meal at home the next night. I can’t believe I didn’t know they were here.

Food has always been amazing and the portions are very generous. We've always had great service and the prices you can't beat. Last night they had a phenomenal piano player that just added such ambiance to an already fabulous night! If you haven't tried it yet, you should because it's one of a kind.

Parking: There are two different parking lots for the restaurant and they are convenient.

Amazing food, and service. And I loved being serenaded on my birthday. Had the Tomahawk Steak with potatoes and mixed vegetables. With the salad. The steak was very tender and flavor was amazing!!!

Yesterday my significant other and myself came to dinner and we had an amazing time do to us having a beautiful spirit, kind, and very delightful waitress Kelsey, who made the experience 10 times better. She kept us laughing and give us great suggestions overall just a great atmosphere. Thank you for having us.
