First time here and definitely won’t be the last. All employees are very friendly. I haven’t had raw oysters in over 15 years. I got 9 Carolina gold and 3 Blackberry. Absolutely delicious. The cocktail sauce and the pickled red onions were great with oysters. We also had the sampler of broiled oysters and they were the best we have ever had. The Tuna small plate was delicious. My wife got the small plate of fried oysters that comes with coleslaw. Best fried oysters we have ever had and the slaw was very good. Everything was so fresh.

First time here and we had a great experience! We were greeted promptly and seated immediately. Service is top notch here. We ordered several dish’s of oysters and all of them were delicious! Lots of different types of oysters to pick from. Full bar w/ lots of beer choices. There are no tables. It is an oyster bar. The atmosphere is nice and clean. I can’t wait to go back. This place is managed very well. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.

This place is such a good date spot, love the bar set up. But you guys could really use a better cole slaw recipe! Shredded cabbage mixed with a little mayo with absolutely no other seasonings is not cole slaw.

We visited Standard Oyster during restaurant week. It's likely not a restaurant we would have tried due to not having had oysters before but I'm so glad we decided to try it out. From beginning to end it was a fantastic experience. All the food, our drinks and the service was top notch. The seafood is super fresh and delicious. The cocktails were so good. We even tried a few oysters and they were great. The in-house vinaigrette paired with the oysters really well. Our server was Sherri and she was funny, helpful and made our experience really enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
