Tried drive thru and the lady taking orders was very rude then all I could hear was her and friends joking around the whole time while I was ordering making me repeat myself a few times

For the past two weeks, I’ve been driving over 8 miles one way every single day just to get a cup of coffee while my kitchen is being overhauled. And honestly? I look forward to that drive — not because of the coffee alone, but because of the people at this location.
In such a short amount of time, the staff not only remembered my name, but also my regular order. The consistency is always there, but what truly stands out is the warmth. The genuine smiles. The way I’m greeted every time like I matter — not like I’m just another transaction passing through.
No matter the day or the shift, regardless of how busy it is (and they are busy), every employee takes a moment to acknowledge me, ask how I’m doing, and make me feel welcome. I can see how hard they work. I can see when they’re tired. Yet they still choose kindness, conversation, and care. That says everything about the people here.
It’s gotten to the point where I almost wish my kitchen renovation would take longer — just so I’d have a reason to keep coming here every day.
I’ve seen some negative reviews complaining about speed or small inconveniences, and I truly don’t think they’re fair. I remember Christmas time — when this was one of the only places open — and even then, the staff showed up with smiles and grace. That kind of dedication deserves appreciation, not criticism.
This team goes above and beyond, and it shows. Thank you for the coffee, yes — but more importantly, thank you for the humanity. You’ve made my mornings better in ways you probably don’t even realize. 💙

My go to Starbucks!!!! I’m constantly here and going through the drive thru and there are some of the sweetest people there who definitely know how to brighten someone’s day. My coffee is always made exactly how I want it and not only great drinks but amazing people as well. This is definitely one of the best starbucks in the district. Strongly recommend!!

This location is so slow. I recommend in-store pick up. They only keep one lane open and you'll be in the drive-thru line for a while. But they are usually sweet and have good service.

Consistently the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. They must not be using the proper recipes because the drinks always taste so much watered down or not at all like they taste at every other Starbucks. I have had several bad customer service experiences here where they give me a random drink and argue with me about what I ordered. If you're looking for good coffee on this side of town this is not the place.

On multiple occasions, they do not make coffee the way I order it. I only go because of convenience of location. But do hope they start paying attention to what customization customers order.
Employee catered to drive thru people not to walk-ins and after 15 minutes had to ask about our drinks.then they started to fix them at the hickory hwy70 location.

Seriously, no wonder the parking lot is empty. Zero customer service unable to buy a cup of ice water on a 90 degree. Would have gladly ordered something else too, but that in itself turned me off on purchasing. Greedy location.

Had a wonderful time at this Starbucks location. Spent the day putting together a Lego set with my son & we got to enjoy wonderful Vanilla Cold Brew coffees while putting the Lego set together. The place was super clean, the staff was extremely polite & were super fast with their service.

My granddaughter requested an Easter Bunny Frappuccino. They didn't make them at this location, but the staff asked me if I could look up the recipe, and they would be happy to make it. I googled the recipe. They made the Frappuccino, and my granddaughter was so happy, which makes me happy. Thank you 😊
