The food is pretty good. Despite the fact it came out warm instead of hot, and the panak paneer has a tendency to always taste a little burnt, it's good.
You know, it was my very first time eating Idian food and I liked it. The waitress was wonderful, very hospitable, very helpful. Loved

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Hickory. Everything I have tried is so full of flavor. The owners are very nice as well. Always a great experience visiting Taj!
Taj has really good quality food. They have a large variety of vegetarian options, which are sometimes hard to come by in Hickory. Great restaurant overall.

Our waitress was very rude the moment we walked in and talked to us as if we’re teenager's. Mind you I work in the same industry and as we ordered our food she decided what spicy level we got even though we asked for something different …it was my first time going there and was very disappointed in the service. Food was good but she ruined the entire experience for us. Don’t remember her name but she’s Indian with dark hair, don’t know if she’s the manager if so, WOW
Taj is our favorite spot for Indian cuisine and we have yet to try a bad dish! My personal favorites are the Chicken Korma and Garlic Naan. They let you choose your spice level from 1-5. I always go mild but my husband gets a 4 which has him sweating in minutes!

Had chicken tikka masala, shrimp tikka masala, and garlic naan. Have to say it was outstanding!! Perfect heat on the masalas. The naan was incredible! The service was great!! Many thanks for an unforgettable meal!!
