Absolutely slept on! This unassuming joint in quiet downtown Hickory is really huge! Big in size and flavor. From the outside (and the parking lot) it looks like a hole in the wall. Inside, you'll find floor to ceiling wine racks, rustic chic decor and a very clean area with attentive staff. I could spend a lot of time here and if I was from this area would be talking to the manager about booking my reception here after my upcoming nuptials, it's absolutely gorgeous! I haven't had food this good in two years since I left Minneapolis. Heck, I've never written a Yelp review. The buffet rotates daily, and down to the remoulade and garnish, everything felt made from scratch. The pulled pork was out of this world and might put barbecue in this entire state to shame. I don't plan on living in NC long, but might just stay if this place remains. Also check out the cafe next door. Gorgeous decor and menu. Would be a shame if these places don't flourish.

Stopped here for lunch on vaca, looking for some authentic Cuban food. Say no more!!!! Great beer selection, kind and helpful staff, THE NACHOS omg. I got the Barbacoa sandwich - the flavors. Wow. Everything was fresh and came in a timely fashion. This is a Hickory gem!!!
