The service and food quality was fantastic. We highly recommend. The ambiance was a little bright with closely spaced tables, but at the same time, remarkably quiet. We decided on scallops and Mahi in lieu of beef and were blown away. We will be back.
Before we got our food, we had to exchange 3 or the 12 pieces of silverware as three had food stuck on them. We had the shareable Brussel sprouts and they were ok. The sweet jam they added to them becomes too much after a few bites. My meal was by far the best of the three ordered. The scallops were cooked perfectly, the crab cake great, and I enjoyed the asparagus and hollandaise sauce though I think the sauce should have been warm. My son got the dry aged ribeye and had to wait...
The overall experience was good. Our server struggled. He was pleasant but had trouble getting order correct and he had difficulty with timing/remembering things asked for. Ambiance was ok, but lighting was odd - overhead lighting has all different kinds of bulbs so there was soft light and harsher bright whites all mixed up. Food was good but not exceptional. Sea bass was probably best meal of the 3 we ordered (we had a 6oz filet wrapped in bacon and the Chophouse chicken sandwich)....
