Fire & Sticks Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi is a popular destination, even in suburban North Carolina. The staff is kind and attentive, and the chef is exceptional, especially with children, as seen in the delightful interactions with a family of five. The food is very good, with a superb kid menu, although some dishes, such as the shrimp and salad, could be improved. The atmosphere is cozy, with a friendly vibe, although some areas, like the bathrooms, could use an update. Overall, Fire & Sticks offers a great dining experience, but may not quite live up to its full potential.
